Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Mississippi

This was the worst waste of money. The sandwiches here are horrible. Stale, cold, falvorless. Do yourself a favor and eat from any other place on campus. The sandwiches are premade presumably the night before. Mine was smushed up in the clear wrap they serve it in. For $10 you can have a small sandwich with SLICED whole wheat bread. The bread is only slightly thicker than the cheapest sliced bread from Walmart. You can also get a tiny bag of chips. For $10 including tax (no drink) you can have the most underwhelming poor eating experience on campus. For the same amount in the Union you can get a Plate(double entree and one side) at Panda Express, a whole personal pizza, or a chicken sandwich plus drink. Don't eat here unless you are desperate for a overpriced salad or 2 day old...

This is an outlet of the main Newks Eatery at Highway 12. They don't offer the full menu here but have all sandwiches, soups, and salad from the original menu. The staff are very well behaved and very prompt. I wish they kept the pizza option too from the original Newks menu. Their chicken salad sandwiches are a great option. They have soup of the day...
