Romeo's Italian Kitchen — Restaurant in Missoula

Terrible service, decent food if they get your order right.My Vegan friend ordered Spaghetti with sauce ( specifically asked no meat no cheese or dairy )& a salad. The salad was drenched in Ranch dressing. Our kids ordered from the kids menu( that we were given when we came into eat at 3pm) After we ordered we noticed food items were missing( salad, chocolate mousse) The waitress told us the kids menu was offered for lunch. I asked her specifically what times kids can order from the kids menu because no where on it was there anything that stated that it was only available at certain times. She told me she didn’t know. We were never given any water.or drink refills. I was towards the end of eating my food and she brought me my check. While chewing my food still she asked me if I was done signing, obviously not she turned around and not even a minute later asked again then when I went to sign the check (and tip) real quick she snatched my plate even though I still had a few bites left and wasn’t finished. I normally tip 50% but honestly with the awful service we received I only tipped 15%. We boxed up the rest of our food (obviously she didn’t want us there) There was only 2 other tables of customers besides us so they were not busy. As we were leaving and walked by the other employees near the door I said “Thank You” We were awkwardly not even acknowledged. I’m very sad and disappointed, I’ve always wanted to try Romero’s and I really did want to love it. The prices were great , the food was decent ( but a little cold) the service was really bad. I work in the service industry, and I could never imagine treating my customers...

I witnessed the most horrendously disgusting thing tonight while picking up a Doordash on 1/28/22 around 8:45 pm. The cook in the back was preparing my orders and I witnessed him, barehanded, without washing his hands scoop the tiramisu cake and put it in a box then proceeded to hand it to me. The fact that he did that while I was watching him was absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t be surprised if practices like that were done on the regular. It was an extremely disturbing sight. In addition, all around the staff was very unprofessional. When I entered, 2 waitresses looked at me very uninvitingly while wrapping silverware 5 feet in front of me, then proceeded to not help me and went back to talking. I also, had to rebag and label the orders myself since they were carelessly thrown into the bags. In addition, Doordash orders where not prepared until I arrived and I shamefully had too explain to my poor customer what I had witnessed and encouraged her to call Doordash, like I had done. Doordash shouldn’t have had to provide a refund, Romeos should just practice proper food prep and hygiene. I am aware that the order was placed and picked up soon before closing but that is no exception for extremely unsafe and unsanitary practice. It is supreme laziness to not grab serving utensils to serve peoples food....

Wow, I've never heard of this place, just ate here for the first time, and it for sure will not be the last! I can't say enough good about Romeo's Italian kitchen! We where seated instantly our server was perfect I never had too look for him my drink never ran dry, but he also never hovered or bothered us. We got an appetizer and it blew our mind, this is the first time in my almost 30 years I've understood dinning as an experience we got the house salads and everything was so delicious where ordered a soup too just because we where curious. And nothing disappointed everything was so fresh and came out at exactly the right time. The main course was to die for we were sooo full the food is amazing some of the best I've had anywhere and there is sooo much of it! We even ordered dessert, which was once again amazing! And to top it off when our bill came I thought there was a mistake! There is no way the quality and quality of food and atmosphere and friendly staff cost as little as it did especially with how much we ordered! This place is a hidden gem and is top of my list for a place I'd recommend to anyone who asks for an amazing night out! I wish I had the literary skills too accurately express how amazing this place is! Go asap and you won't be disappointed! You'll be a repeat customer...
