I came in as a new diner wanting to try a business that I hadn't tried before I came in and I placed my order for the combo that they had on the sign on the door $14.00 when the lady rang it up it came up to be about $25 and I was thinking oh my goodness no, she said well do you Just want the sandwich and I said okay and I paid like $18 for just a sandwich as I'm sitting there I'm looking out of the window and I keep looking at the flyer in the window that saying that they have a special for $14.00a combo so I'm waiting and waiting and waiting someone comes up behind me orders their food next thing I know they got their food they're out the door and I'm sitting there waiting. Finally my food comes up and I said hey what about the $14 at the door and she was like oh well you didn't ask for that well yes ma'am I did ask for that when I came in and I asked for the combo So I'm trying to understand how a combo that was $14 ended up to be $25 I haven't even tasted the food All I know is that this company had an opportunity to make a new customer today and they failed miserably at that. I won't be back!! EDIT Ma'am With theresponse given I assume you were the person serving me. Noone was CURSED at and $17.17 for a sandwich when you have a lunch special "supposedly" for $14.00 that includes sandwich fries and a drink. Bait and switch!!...
Read moreI’ve been to Philly Boyz Cheesesteaks twice now, and let me tell you, it’s definitely worth the visit! I’m usually so excited to dig in that I forget to take pictures – sorry about that! I frequent the area and was excited to discover another Black-owned business in the neighborhood. Philly Boyz is tucked away in a strip mall off Texas Parkway, and while it might seem unassuming, the food and atmosphere will surprise you in the best way.
Both times, I was greeted immediately with a warm welcome and top-notch customer service. The inside has a spacious, open area with plenty of seating and a bar. You can even get a glimpse of the food prep, which is always a cool touch. I was quoted just ten minutes for my order, and when I came back, my food was ready and piping hot.
I’ve only had the Salmon Philly so far, and it was flavorful and filling – definitely hit the spot! My friend tried the regular 3-way Philly and was just as satisfied. We both agreed, this is now our go-to Philly spot! I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu, and maybe grab a drink or two while I’m at it. Highly recommend Philly Boyz Cheesesteaks for anyone in the area – you won’t be...

I told the lady I want 2 minis & 2 eggrolls - she tells me she don’t know if they sell minis (but it’s listed on they website) but she then proceeds to say I got it it & so when I placed my order I was told 20 mins for my food to be ready. So instead of waiting 20mins I waited 30 just to be sure it’ll be ready., when I arrived I was not greeted or nothing everybody looked so busy yet I was the only one there besides another young lady. I get to the counter told them I had a pick up order ….WHY MY FOOD WASN’T READY NOT EVEN PREPPED TO BE COOKED… so I waited another 30 mins food still not done at this point I wanted to leave but I wanted to give them a try so I waited another 10 mins.. I get the food & head home because at this point I was already irritated … so I wasn’t paying attention to price & food… why I get home & they gave me 2 full sandwiches… (still didn’t complain) but any ways the eggrolls & veggie was good but the salmon was dry.. service...
