The chicken today, 06/24,2024 was HORRIBLE. I was in at 10:34 and to my surprise, Crispy chicken is an extra charge. $1.25 more. I should’ve walked out then because I haven’t had their regular chicken in almost 15 years which is y I stopped eating it cuz it’s horrible. The skin doesn’t even stick to the bone if not crispy. So I contacted their main office and spoke to Matthew in which he said They had stopped the crispy chicken because it was too much work and from that it became a high demand from customers to have it back so he did a survey to their customers about having them pay extra for it and they agreed. The typical minority AGREED to pay extra for some WELL DONE chicken that’s already overpriced. So Matthew; It’s a lot of work to redrop chicken to be cooked all the way thru for a few extra minutes huh.?.
But it’s not enough work for paying customers that’s fighting traffic, heat, gas prices, and all the other restaurants in passing to patron them smh. Let that sink in Customers or shall I...
Read moreDon't use Doordash to place your order for pickup. Only resorted to that bc no one would answer the phone. Received a notification from Doordash that the order was ready only to arrive at the restaurant and have them tell me they don't even "enter" the orders in the system until you arrive. Ok, kinda inconvenient, but I'll wait. 20 minutes later, they start calling ticket numbers and I have no clue what my ticket number is bc they didn't give me a ticket. After going up to the counter and politely asking if my order had a ticket number, the lady very rudely said "well yeah, it's on your ticket that I gave you". I informed her she never gave me a ticket bc it was a Doordash order. One of the orders they were calling was mine. The food is great. Fresh. Seasoned. But the service and...
Read moreAlways love the chicken and sweet tea. This visit was a rather lengthy wait. I understand the employee situation since the pandemic and I can expect a wait time, but the cashier didn't make the customer experience a good one. She was very plain, no smile or anything and seemed like she didn't want to be there. Leaning on the counter and her facial expressions and physical actions said she didn't want to be there. She was pulling people's oders and dropping the bags on the counter in such a manner as if she hated that customers came in. I've worked in restaurants (in all positions including management) and that behavior is very bad in front of customers and makes the business look bad. But, the food was...
