Tokyo Express — Restaurant in Mocksville

Really wanted to like it, like to support local businesses. Food quality was about 4/10. Fried rice needs to be more than just rice with no flavor or eggs, or peas, anything. It taste like steamed rice and then a little oil in a pan for 4 min, nothing else in it. Noddle's ramen grade and not much flavor. Chicken was just ok, again seemed to lack a unique flavor other than the basics like soy sauce. It probably average for Mocksville so it will probably be good enough for locals used to the sub par food around here. What an AWESOME discovery in Mocksville! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining there for lunch, and we've found a new favorite restaurant. The establishment was impeccably clean, the menu was easily navigable, the staff was incredibly polite, and the food was absolutely wonderful! Great food for a great value. My wife and I ordered the hibachi steak and hibachi scallops with a side of pork dumplings for takeout. Portions were huge. Steak and scallops were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Rice was plentiful and the the vegetable mix of carrots, onions, and zucchini were delicious. Pork dumplings were crispy and full of flavor.

Will 100% be ordering again. No pics because we ate it...
