El Rancheros Mexican Food — Restaurant in Modesto

Ive been eating here for a few weeks since they opend. Tonight was their Grand Opening. So here is the low down.. The first encounter was good. Ordered a super burrito, the Carne asada was great.. The burrito was good.. Generously portioned. Great seasoning, the flavors where great! My second experience; ordered the rolled tacos. Super great! And ordered nacho (chips, cheese, pico da gallo) Very generous proportions and fresh Pico. Third enciunter: Ordered ground beef burrito. Result was a mushy, soggy burrito. The meat was pink and my burrito leaked out about a quarter cup of grease. Unedible. Fourth encounter: decided to investigate further. Ordered a shredded beef burrito. The meat was cooked thoroughly and woukda have had a great flavor had it not been stuffed into the flour shelk with a quater cuo of juice. It nade my burrito soggy after the first quarter. I threw away the remaining three quartes and changrd my shirt from the splatter the hit my plate. Now, for the grand opening....i commend the entire staff fir they were bombarded and did a helluva job! I ordered a taco salad, steak, which was superb! Then tried the rolled tacos... Excellent! And ate a nacho (chips, cheese, and pico de gallo)with four promotional .99¢ draft beers. Thank you to the staff! Despite being overrun with flocks of hungry, impatient customers, they delivered great fiid all the while maintining tgey composure. Great job! My only suggestion is to have the cooks drain the meat before making a burrito... Nobody likes soggy food. And please never rush.. Make sure that meat is cooked to perfection. With this, i can see this...

So to clarify I come here all the time. I generally love their food and their service, but today I stopped in for breakfast and the service was terrible. The place says open 24 hours but no one answered the drive through even though I drove around 3 times. I thought maybe the employees had ditched their shift, until I saw an employee trying to get in and repeatedly calling who I assume were other workers. Finally, a worker returned her call and let her in. But here’s the kicker, the employee that was already inside had been there!! When they opened the door it was clear they were playing music too loud to hear the drive through alarm or even to hear their coworker knocking trying to get in. Very unprofessional and very frustrating knowing they are inside being paid to serve customers and they are letting customers go round and round the store in circles trying...

Went to this restaurant10/12/2024. the food was garbage. This was the third time trying it. i figured i would order something different to give it another try. Every time i've tried their food it was not good. what finally broke the camels back was Each time i would order two meals they would only give me one bag of chips knowing there were two ppl in the car (common sense right?) This time knowing they would only give me one i asked the lady working if there were two bags of chips, she looked at me annoyed and responded "There are none in the bag" she went and grabbed two bags of chips and threw them in the bag very disrespectfully. My question is, why work a customer service job with that kind of attitude? Hopefully no one else experienced this disrespectful young lady. Shes bad...
