THE COOKS NEED TO KNOW WHEN PREPARING ANY OF THERE DISHES WITH GARLIC !!!!!! THE GOLDEN RULE IS DO NOT OVER COOK GARLIC !!!!!!!!! IT WILL MAKE ALL YOUR FOOD TASTE VERY-VERY-VERY BITTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT !!! OTHER THAN THAT THERE FOOD IS GOOD PS. THE OWNER NEEDS TO CHANGE UP THERE MENU EVERY MONTH WITH JUST A FEW DEFERENT NEW RECIPE’S ENTREES FOR THERE SPECIAL’S EVERY MONTH !!! PLUS THERE LINE COOKS NEED MORE TRAINING REGARDING HOW LONG TO COOK GARLIC WHEN PREPARING EACH GARLIC DISH’S THAT HAS GARLIC INCLUDED WITH EACH RECIPE !!!! THE COOKS THINK THE DARKER THE GARLIC IS ,, IS BETTER TASTING THEY ARE SO WRONG !!’ TONIGHT I ORDERED GARLIC BUTTERED PRAWNS WITH VEGGIES IT WAS THE WORST TASTING MEAL THAT I EVER ATE !!! ARE FAMILY’S WERE IN THHE RESTAURANT BUSINESS FOR FIFTY YEARS AND MYSELF I CONCERTED A CHEF IN COOKING IN TEN DEFERENT CULTURAL RECIPES !!! El ROSEL 2 RESTAURANT NEEDS HELP HOW TO USE DIFFERENT SEASONINGS TO MAKE THERE DISHES SHINE!!! PS. ALL THERE COOKS NEED PERSONAL TRAINING AND GUIDANCE ON PREPARING ALL DISHES ON THERE MENU! BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE A CLUE ON THE RIGHT SEASONINGS FOR EACH OF DISHS ON THERE MENU !!! AND THE OWNER NEEDS TO INTERVENE WITH HIS COSTUMERS AND LEARN BETTER ENGLISH, AND ALSO THE BAR MANAGER HIMIE HAS A COCAINE ADDICTION AND HE IS A THIEF !!! I CAUGHT HIM SEVERAL TIMES HE RINGS UP NO SALE ON THE REGISTER, THEN POCKETS THE CASH !!!!!!!!!! THEN THE LAST INCIDENT I WAS SITTING WITH ONE OF MY FRIENDS AND WE ORDERED THE CEVICHE IT WASN’T EVEN CLOSE AS BEING THE RIGHT RECIPE IT ONLY HAD TOMATO JUICE, LITTLE PIECES OF AVOCADO, AND SOME CUCUMBER,AND LITTLE PIECES OF SHRIMP IT WAS.TERRIBLE !! I WAS A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS MAINLY TO HAVE A FEW DRINKS !!!!!!!!!! NEVER TO EAT THERE FOOD IT’S TERRIBLE.!!! THE BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IS IN STOCKTON CA, OFF OF MARCH LANE THE BEST EVER !! PS. THEN IT HAPPENED I WAS LEAVING THE BAR AND PAYING MY BILL WITH CASH BUT I DECIDED TO USE MY DEBIT CARD I GAVE IT TO HIMIE TO CASH OUT WHILE HE WAS DOING THE TRANSACTION I FOUND EXTRA CASH IN MY POCKET💰SO I TOLD HIMIE TO CANCEL USING MY CARD AND I WILL PAY WITH CASH !!!!’ BUT TWO DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM MY BANK THAT THERE WAS TWO TRANSACTIONS FOR $72.64 SO I CALLED MY BANK AND CANCELED THOSE TRANSACTIONS AND I GOT MY MONEY BACK !!! THEN A FEW WEEKS LATER I WENT TO THE BAR AND THEN HIMIE CAME UP TO ME AND HANDED ME SOME PAPER WORK FROM HIS BANK AND IT SAID THEY CANCELED THOSE TRANSACTIONS FROM HIS BANK !!!! SO THEN HE 86th ME FROM THE BAR FOR EVER !!!! SO I RECOMMEND EVERYONE DO NOT EVER GO BACK TO THE WORST RESTAURANT...

Discrimination, disrespect and terrible service.

Two friends of mine came here to dine. They had a moment where they shared a small kiss (peck) because what couple doesn’t?

From the moment they walked in, they sensed an uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff's unfriendly stares and whispered exchanges made it clear that they were being treated differently because they are a gay couple. It's disheartening to think that in this day and age, such discrimination still exists.

Throughout their meal, the service they received was lackluster and indifferent. Their requests were ignored, and they were left waiting for an unreasonably long time for their orders to be taken and their food to arrive. It's evident that their treatment was affected by the restaurant staff's prejudice.

The food they received was subpar and poorly prepared, leading them to believe that the kitchen staff's prejudice extended to the very dishes they were served. This just added to their disappointment and frustration.

As someone who cares deeply about our LGBTQ+ community, it's heart-wrenching to know that our friends had to go through such an upsetting experience. We stand firmly against any form of discrimination, and we believe that no one should have to face judgment or mistreatment based on their sexual orientation.

Our friends deserved a memorable and enjoyable dining experience, but instead, they were met with discrimination and disappointment. Let this be a reminder that every business should strive to treat all customers with respect and kindness, regardless of their sexual orientation.

I hope that El Rosal takes this feedback seriously and implements meaningful changes to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons. Until they demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusivity, we cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to...

Absolutely love this El rosal We drive all the way from Riverbank to go to it even though there's one block away,. The reason we do that is the food is far superior It's nice that people often will recognize you that's nice. The complaints that I do have one is when they put it in the bags they're not careful so by the in my husband's very careful and holds it from the bottom and puts it in a flat thing in the in his truck and drive slow but every time we get it home all the food is just rolled to one side very unappetizing looking and we paid you know for two people we pay over 40 bucks just to eat so we shouldn't have a big blob of junk the other thing is we always ask for no chips and salsa and cabbage because it goes right in the garbage and they always add it even though he says it right there It's just a waste of food Total waste of food . We only wants also if we order flour chips of course you need salsa with flour chips but since we very rarely do that but we ask specifically please don't add any chips salsa or cabbage in our bag and then we get home and there's like four of each they go straight in the trash and that makes us feel horrible I don't know why it's that hard to listen. Had a killer experience in the bar the other day with a friend with a guy I think the bartender's name was Victor please forgive me if he wasn't I was having fun with him being silly and he was just a great guy I made great drinks a manager I think her name was Mary I'm not sure my husband would nobody's not here she's awesome too She could probably tell Brian what his order is off the top of her head and he's not like we go there everyday fantastic people however I do miss my waitress who left with the big old cheeks and the beautiful smile oh I love that lady you won't...
