I have been going there for over 10 years. I ordered what I always order. The Cod Tacos. They had hardly anything on them. Normally, I can barely hold it because its so fun. This time hardly anything was on it. Very little cabbage, like 4 pieces and a couple pieces in the tray. The avocado was on my rice. When I bought them back she told me there was cabbage on it and why was the avocado on the rice. I said thats the way they gave it to me. I didnt touch anything. She said it too me like I was lying. I live 20 minutes away. I would not waste my time and lie about it. My daughters chicken tacos, I ask for chicken, cilantro and cheese only. The lady taking the order put it in as no sauce. So the manager told me I ask for no sauce. I said no, I never said anything about sauce. She treated me like I screwed up the order and it was all my fault and gave me attitude about it all. I just wanted my daughters tacos done right and my tacos with more stuff like they always are. Then she brings me out my cod tacos and has the nerve to tell me that it was the same as the last ones. They were totally different. I so wish I took pictures. The last one was halfway full. I am more upset about the disrespect I got, then the food. No customer should be treated that way. Oh, I also told her the shredded chicken was really nasty she should tast it. She said yeah, I have tried it. It just plain chicken. She had a nasty look on her face saying she knew it was nasty. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU SERVE THAT IF YOU KNOW ITS DRIED OUT AND NASTY. Like its ok to feed it to my family. Really! I will never buy food from there again as long as she is manager. I love there food, but I will NOT be treated like that. I use to go there with a friend that knows the owner. I am sure he would love to know how his customers are being treated. We love eating there. Sad I can...

If you want a kind, friendly environment, with decent food, where you don't get judged by your color, this is NOT the place. From the moment you walk in, there is a hostess that is very rude - not welcoming at all. She gave us a wait of 20 minutes, we were okay with that, but she sat 3 other parties (who were White) in front of us, even though they arrived after us. I asked to speak to the supervisor, Yesenia came to talk to us. She was a but more polite, but still condescending attitude. I don't even think she was a higher up? I think they just brought her up because they wanted to shut us Mexicans up. They finally decided to sit us, but the hostess we originally speaking to went to the bar and had the bartender sit us, I guess she was that disgusted with us. Our food took a long time to arrive and was horrible!! If you want some real Mexican food at a place where you won't get discriminated, there are plenty of other choices. You would think since this is supposedly a Mexican restaurant they would treat you as any other person, but I guess not. Definitely would not recommend. Price is...

This time was awful. I made a reservation for 6 people at 6:30 on a friday evening. It was to be my daughters 50th birthday dinner. When they arrived the table was not ready so they were sitting in the reception area. I arrived shortly after them and they were still sitting there. I asked why and they just said oh, we will set the table. No we are sorry,!!! We were seated and our service was awful. She was not servicing g our table and we had to keep asking a busboy to find her. It was clear that she didn't want to be there. Through the whole dinner she was only found to service our table by the busboy. The foods were not at all up to pop at standards. We were very disappointed and I was very embarrassed as it was my daughters birthday. The only good part was the dessert for my daughter. That she liked. I was so angry that I only left 10% tip and did that much so she knew I didn't forget. If I left nothing it would look like I forgot. The thing I will remember is to not ever eat at La Morinita again. Yesenia needs to retire from serving and work out of...

Just finished brunch at La Morenita, what follows is my review First, only the busser of the staff that we saw had a mask on. This concerns me as the pandemic continues to spread exponentially (see today's local numbers image I posted) and yet folks who work all day with the public don't seem to understand the situation. As for the food and drinks, generous portions, prices a bit high (sighs - times have changed) and libations solidly done. Quality was there all around and service was prompt. Now if they can extend their concern for quality to their concern for the health of their patrons, we will be looking at 5/5. This experience pushed them down significantly on our list of go to places for Mexican food. Images from the La Morenita FB page (and the food looked as good on our table) and Modbee.com

I can't believe I went 11 months without "The Wedding Sauce." Now that I've binged on it's intoxicating deliciousness, I have woken the next morning and chastised myself like an old man not able say "no" when his beautiful young wife wants to going out drinking on a Sunday night like we used to in our youth. Laying here surrounded by mostly empty food containers in a room badly painted in the color wedding sauce, I feel euphoria, deepest satisfaction, and food induced lethargy. Unfortunately, this blessed state is being tempered by sorrow, regret, and the dread slowly rising as I start to think of the walk of shame I will do tomorrow after I tell everyone in my Wedding Sauce-Aholics group.

I’ve came to La Morenita many times and i had my friend stop and pick me up a wedding meal with steak and bring it to me to Los Banos. I’m literally appalled that I literally counted six strips of steak meat in my meal. I didn’t order a kids meal and you gave me 2 tortillas I can’t even use both because you guys served me a kids meal for my $39 for this meal salsa and cabbage. I’m so confused on what I paid almost $40 for. You guys should really be ashamed of yourselves for this it deserved and image to be posted. La Morenita do better!!
