SERVING SIZE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY(as of now): I want to start by saying that the ingredients itself are very good quality, the fish seemed fresh and the rice was still warm and a generous portion. The service, although a little slow, was considerate and friendly. They do not have metal bowls for mixing like much of the other poke spots in the area so the ingredients aren't as thoroughly mixed together, which isn't a huge issue. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE SERVING SIZE. I'm not sure if the employees have been trained to minimize the scoop, but the scoop size for protein here is equivalent to half that of most poke shops. If you are paying nearly $20 for a bowl of poke it needs to have adequate amount of fish. I witnessed as my the employee who made my bowl empty his scoop of salmon and replace it with a even smaller scoop, which is why I think it's more probable they are being managed to serve very small scoops. I think I had a total of 4 pieces of salmon, which you are paying 2 extra dollars for with the large bowl. Currently this is the worst value for your dollar poke spot in all of Modesto, and I cannot recommend it for now. Was really excited to try this new poke spot, but left disappointed. The portion sizes weren’t great, especially for the price. I asked for two teriyaki musubis and was told they only had one and tried to push a spicy mayo one on me instead. I even said I didn’t want it, but the guy insisted so it felt like he just didn’t want to make another teriyaki. On top of that, the owner was hovering over every single employee like a hawk. I placed a Doordash order. They delivered half of my order. I ordered two Poke Burritos and 4 musibi. I only got 1 Poke bowl (not the item I ordered) and 2 musubi. When I called to let them know, they asked me to go into the store to pick it up. I obviously Doordashed food because I wasn't able to go into their establishment ( I was at work) I had to place an order for drinks and pay Doordash, just for them to send me the remainder of my food.
