This is so disappointing, we've been coming here since opening and have always loved it. But today only good thing about this place was our amazing server kody, she is running circles around the rest of the staff on shift including the manager, and when I say running, I mean literally running with a pep in her step, positive attitude all while running the entire floor on her own and answer the phones. The manager is moving at the speed of a snail while tables are dirty and need to be bussed and the place is fairly packed. I even witnessed a couple leave after not being helped for an extended period of time while the manager was behind the bar packing to go orders that weren't even complete and ready to go yet so he stood there for a good 10 minutes while waiting for the food. Meanwhile another table had to reach out to be served drinks, got half of their order then had to reach out again. I don't know how that guy got a manager position, he's so worried about chit chat that the service is suffering because he isn't helping. He even took off into the parking lot for whatever purpose while phones are ringing and staff are stretched thin. Mosing around looking at the ceiling like there isn't work to be done. Food came out and you can tell the fryers haven't been cleaning for an extended period of time. I witnessed another server pressing drinks up against his body to get multiple drinks to a table instead of using a serving tray. As someone who has been in the service industry for 8+ years, the support this staff has is embarrassing to say the least. It's sad to see a restaurant that we regularly enjoyed, be a place that we question returning to. Ordered more than $40 worth of food and drinks and when food came one of the items wasn't really what I asked waitress for because we had already given back menu's when we added one more item garlic fries, we weren't told they had parmesan cheese or what they call aioli sauce, (they need to look up what aioli sauce is and the color light egg yellow) it was told to us yes we have garlic fries, and when they came we all couldn't figure out what they were, they had a cream color sauce nearly any garlic flavor and lemony miracle whip taste with shaved parmesan over it and that's not what we ordered. Then when bill came they had a sampler platter which has fries, mozzarella sticks, and something else, which we didn't have, SO WHATCH YOUR BILL, THAT WAS $12.49or99 and when we brought these two thing to our waitresses attention she seemed like that's to bad she said you ordered it, but I asked for the mgr. And for her less than $1.00 worth of product(fries-littles bit of garlic aioli parmesan sauce) she had an even worse attitude and turned her back on us and walked away after I asked her if she knew what aioli sauce was because I am a retired chef and she said ya and I then said then she would know that this was actually not aioli and she walked away never and was VERY RUDE and SHOULD NEVER BE A MANAGER OR IN A PUBLIC POSITION, MAYBE, back office.(go back to rainbow fields, no we play ball there and thats probably why you DON'T work there anymore either, you give public relations a bad name. Read moreI used to come here every weekend for NFL and the last 3 times I came the draft beer tasted alot like run down water. And the 1st time, out of the 3, we brought it up to the managers attention.... Ahem yes the manager..... And she apologized and fixed it no problem. The 2nd time same situation with it tasting like run down water so I switched beer thinking that could've been the problem and again brought it up to the managers attention about the taste. She fixed it again and did so with an attitude but she provided customer service so no problem again. And the 3rd time is where I gave up. I brought it up to the managers attention again with the taste and she told me if I'm going to be coming in to just complain about the beer to just not order the beer which was kinda. Rude telling your customers what to and not to order. It's a responsibility for your store to be opening grand ready as a manager so problems don't occur throughout the day. And we got into that scuffle and I always order the same wings. Extra crispy well done and I don't know if it was intentional or a complete accident but out of the many visits I drove from Merced every weekend to watch football and never they messed up my food until the 3rd complaint. After the 3rd we both got food poisoning and it was to a point where I had to go to the ER here in Merced. I used to love coming here but with the management directing what a customer should order and I'm hoping it was a fluke and non intentional, in severely food poisoning me and my gf to the point where I had to go to the ER, never again lady....
