Food was good. There were 15 of us for an "after graduation" dinner. I did not like the fact that we had to place our orders in the morning and they would only do 3 tickets. Our party was of 5 dfferent families, so we had to put 2 families together and it was up to us to figure out who owed what. Don't see the difference in sitting 15 people at 3 tables or if each family would have sat at their own table where they each would get their own bill for their food! Also, one family (not mine) ordered 1 extra order of fries; but a basket of fries was put on each table (we thought they may have been complimentary until the food was ready) & when the bill came, all 3 baskets were charged to MY bill! Besides that; my husband ordered "2 iced teas, unsweetened, no lemon" for he and I. The waitress came and put a PITCHER of tea on EACH of tge 3 tables. When one family member asked for a cola, she was told that the tea is what was ordered. However, the person who called in the order said she did not order any drinks and told the person who took the order; that everyone could just order what they wanted. Problem is, these 3 PITCHERS were also on MY bill!! Bottom line, what my husband & I actually ordered, shouldn't have been more than $30 including the tip. The bill we received was almost $50 and we had to pay for items WE...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. What happened was my order from Aurelio’s Pizza was incomplete. One of my pizzas was missing. While the store has an order read-back policy for phone orders, the associate was distracted therefore I had to repeat myself multiple times. It would have been helpful if more attention had been paid to the call, rather than putting me on hold in the middle of my order to answer other calls. The manager claims that her associate read back 2 pizzas rather than 3. The only way that would have happened was because of the distractions and interruptions.
When I contacted the manager, I was told I could come in to pick up the missing pizza, but I wasn’t informed that I would need to pay for it. The manager’s response, “Why would I need to state what is obvious?” didn’t help clarify the situation. I understand mistakes happen, but better communication and customer service would go a long way—especially when the final offer was just $5 off. It’s frustrating to think that if an order is read back incorrectly, the customer might be expected to drive back and pay practically full price for a mistake that...
Read moreVisited Autelio's pizza in Mokena at 4:45 pm yesterday. Ordered a small pizza with salad. I've been patronizing Aurelio's for over 40 years, but this will be my last trip to this location. Interior condition of the establishment was dirty and unkempt. Men's restroom was in serious need of attention. Waste paper towel disposal can was overflowing (At 4:45 in the afternoon? ) Pizza was served lukewarm with cheese barely melted. The tv, located in corner of room, was off, with numerous exposed wiring hanging down free and loose. No salt/ pepper shakers on table. Server was mediocre at best. Overall general condition of this place is terrible. It's no wonder this place had only 6 people in for dinner. Aurelio's Mokena is in dire need of a complete shakedown and upgrade in all areas. A far cry from the original location in every respect. A poor reflection of your establishment Mr Kaplan. I don't know how you can open your doors day in and out while allowing this business to look and function as it does. Very poor business acumen. We...
