Nasty! First and only word that comes to mind. I have eaten at this “restaurant” at least a dozen times prior. Granted, it’s been at least 4-5 years since the last time I was there and boy has it changed, and not for the better. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger as I do not like fish. Especially soggy, disgusting, frozen lumps of whatever that is they call a “fish platter.” My burger didn’t come with lettuce as they were out. No papa sauce, whatever that is. Enough mayo to choke a shire horse. And of course, let’s make the burger so salty it’s inedible. I thought it might be the bacon, nope. Someone in the back got all flashy and went salt bae on my cheeseburger! But wait folks, the fun doesn’t stop there! It was nearly impossible to find a clean table even though most of the “restaurant” was empty which implies the staff follows the strict rule of “not my job.” I didn’t peek in the restroom as I’m almost 💯 positive it was in the same condition as the rest of this establishment. One of the female staff members went to the restroom and was in there forever! I heard the toilet flush but didn’t hear any water running from washing hands. Didn’t hear any use of paper towels. And was amazed at how she just casually walked by so many dirty tables, spilt pop on the floor, and food everywhere without even batting an eye! The pop lids were empty, straws nearly empty. And let’s not get me started on that stupid bell. The rope was white at some point…..Go ahead, touch that nasty sssssshhhhhh, I dare you!! All in all, hell naw!!!! I do not recommend this location. Perhaps the Davenport location is better? Haven’t been to that one in a few years as well. And after this experience I’m not sure I...
Read moreStaff seemed like they hated their jobs and food was all room temp, some was soggy like our burger. We didn't even receive three of our items and only realized it when we were about a half hour into our drive home. Ice creams float was ok but wasn't my taste (like barqs root beer and vanilla ice cream that's partially already melted) and milkshake like drink (not a float but forgot the name) was not filled up very well at all. Fish tacos were just a fish fillet with next to no sauce in a taco shell, go to Walmart and make them yourselves for that price and have plenty of leftovers. Also nearly nine dollars for a very small container maybe 5 oz of cheese curds that's only filled half way full? That is extremely overpriced. When I go to any food establishment I expect hot or at the very least, warm food. Very little return for your money. We will not be returning or recommending this location. This was my first time at an A&W or Long John Silvers and very well may be my last. Not at all what I...
Read moreA&W had been a favorite of mine since childhood. The chicken tender sandwiches are cooked fresh when you order and always worth the wait. The onion rings and cheese curds are really good for a fast food restaurant. I can't imagine how busy the burger people get, considering there's usually only one per shift making all the burger and sandwiches. Hats off to them! The hours for inside dinning and typically 11-7 and they are currently closed on Mondays due to...
