Ginza Hibachi and Ramen — Restaurant in Moline

This new restaurant in the Moline area has received excellent reviews, despite some negative feedback on its opening day. The drive-thru hibachi is an impressive feat, and while there is a wait, it is worth it.

I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and shrimp/steak hibachi, as well as a side of crab rangoons. My order was prepared promptly, and I was even greeted by a staff member who expressed their excitement about the restaurant’s first day. Given the quality and taste of the food, the wait was minimal. I received a reusable orange bag as a bonus.

Edit: Restaurant replied and said this was atypical, so I think I'll give it another try next week, in-person this time.

I'm really bummed... this place just opened recently and was solid when it did. But, just some months later, the quality has really gone down. I ordered a steak and shrimp hibachi combo. The steak was 'meh at best. The sauce that normally goes with this has been replaced with some sort of gravy. The fried rice no longer has egg and what not mixed in.

The food is okayish, but not worth the price.

I've now been here twice. On the first occasion, I had the Ginza ramen, my girlfriend had the hibachi steak, and we had some crab rangoon and steamed gyoza as appetizers. The food was fantastic, the restaurant has a very chill atmosphere and the staff was great! Today we went and got takeout from them. I had the pork wonton ramen, which was delicious! And the staff has our to go order ready in a very timely manner. I've been recommending this place to everyone I know, and I'd highly recommend anybody give it a try! I imagine I'll be eating...
