Some feedback for management:
The food/product was correct, but it was one of the most stressful experiences getting takeout I've ever had. I did online ordering for a pickup--the food itself was about 15 minutes late, which wasn't a huge issue because they were at the tail end of the rush.
The problem was what seemed to be tension in the back of the house that spilled over to the front of the house. Everyone seemed to be "over it."
The individual at the very front of the ordering, in charge of bagging up and handing out orders, was way out of sync, and I watched her take a large cup of drink and pour part of it into an empty cup, and then attempted to hand both cups to me. We're in a pandemic; other restaurants hand you a cup and let you fill it (which I could have done at the very start of waiting anyway). I raised this issue and just asked for empty cups; someone else did this for her, fair, fine.
The tone of those I spoke directly with indicated they were extremely stressed, and it made me stressed too. I look at this as a failing of management more than the individual staff. Lack of training and protocol; fulfillment taking longer than it should be; not maintaining even a decent atmosphere. Other customers around me were complaining about the most basic stuff. Front of house needs to be retrained; back of house needs to stop constantly yelling at each other.
FWIW, this has gotten worse over the past few months; I go here about once a month, and it seems the problems have been there for a while, but have gotten worse over time. I'd attribute it at least in part to COVID fatigue, so I...
Read moreFazoli’s is my actual favorite restaurant. I went here on Valentine’s Day and the front desk lady was SO rude. I just moved here less than 6 months ago so i know there wasn’t some kind of grudge or anything she had with me, but when i ordered my food, i expected a couple breadsticks in a bag but they put one breadstick ON MY FOOD. They were soggy with red sauce by the time i got them so i asked for more breadsticks and the lady said “there’s a wait” we said ooookay.... no problem, wait, a nice man comes out and asks if we want extra breadsticks so we obviously take them and between 2 people, 2 breadsticks go fast, so another couple minutes and we ask for more, she brings out 2. From experience, they’ve always brought out enough for both people to eat a few for a little bit so we don’t have to keep getting up every 5 minutes to ask for more. Finally I’m fed up with the “unlimited breadsticks” request every couple minutes so we ask for one more serving so we can take a couple home. Get 2 again and we left. each and every time we asked for more, the front desk lady had the most disrespectful snobby attitude. I’d never felt such a negative energy in a fazolis before and if that wasn’t the only one around me, i wouldn’t go in...
Read moreI wish I could give them no stars. My family and I showed up for dinner because we had a couple of coupons. When we walked in, it was not busy. We have never been to a Fazoli's before so it took us a few extra minutes to look over the menu. We asked the manager how many coupons we could use and he politely told us "As many as the computer will take." We begin to place our order and the girl who took our order looked agitated. She gave us dirty looks when we asked her questions about the food. She interrupted us constantly, rolled her eyes, acted like we were an inconvenience and very short with us. When we were done, we asked her which coupons the computer would take and she said "It only takes one." We told her "Your manager just said whatever the computer takes" and she interrupted us again and said "no." then rolled her eyes again and said "It just takes one." by this time we were done with her. So we gave her one coupon. As we started to walk away, she grunted in frustration and started cussing under her breath and making it obvious that she was annoyed. Then walked to the back. My family will never return to this place, and I definitely will let others know...
