P-Dub’s Sports Bar — Restaurant in Monaca

This is really just a bar. You want to smoke, drink and watch football- don't care about the food, this might work for you. Whoever took my order on the phone was a bit rude, like how dare I call during the football game. Said their menu says "we deliver", would they deliver to me, I'm 4 miles away. She said no and they don't have a menu. There's definitely one on the website. She said there's no $5 cheese pizza deal on Sundays, but I could get a 3 topping for $7.99. couldn't tell me what toppings, it's the usual, but you can't get chicken or steak. She didn't know what the Monaca licker sauce was, but said it's kinda sweet and hot. Well ok, I ordered anyway. Didn't give me an estimated time but based on reviews about the wait, I figured 45 minutes was plenty. Showed up, only waited 5-10, this waitress was more polite. Got home, thought they forgot the celery and ranch but found them UNDER the wings. 3 Little scrawny celery per dozen, and ranch packets, nice and HOT. They were ok. Not the best wings I've had. Some had sauce, some didn't. The pizza was mostly crust, toppings were sparse. Actually don't think they even put the onion on. Very few peppers and pepperoni. No one really enjoyed any of it, fault was on me for wanting to try something different tonight. Won't...

I’m writing to share my recent experience in hopes it can help improve communication going forward. I called around 9:45 PM to place a food order, and the woman I spoke with informed me that orders could only be placed over the phone if I paid in advance. I wasn’t comfortable providing my card information over the phone, and she then advised that I could come in to place and pay for the order in person.

I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 9:55 PM. After waiting a few minutes, a staff member came over, but when I attempted to place my order, I was told that the kitchen had closed at 10 PM. I explained that I had just spoken with someone about coming in, and was asked if I knew who I spoke to. While I couldn’t confirm for certain, I believe it may have been the same person.

Additionally, the hours listed online state that the kitchen closes at 11 PM. If the actual closing time is 10 PM, I would suggest updating this information online to avoid confusion. More importantly, I would appreciate it if staff refrained from advising customers to come in to place an order if the kitchen is about to close and they will not be...

I'll start by saying I worked in the food service industry for about 10 years and I have never left a bad review before... We were the only 2 people on the inside of the restaurant and there was a small party of 10-12 outside on a Monday night and our food took an HOUR to come out and that was only mine, my husbands food took an extra 10 minutes. I got the brelloch bomber and it was terrible, for $17 I got 4 slices of bread 5 slices of American cheese and less than 2 oz of steak for my sandwich which was way over salted. My husband's $15 steel curtain burger that "came with grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms" was in fact an overly well done burger with raw onions and slimy canned mushrooms and barely warm frozen waffle fries, at least they used real bacon... after the food was dropped off no one came back to check if we needed another drink or if our food was okay or not untill they brought our check. The drinks were okay but we won't be back. 1/10 would not recommend, take you're appetite and thirst anywhere...
