McT's — Restaurant in Mondovi

Everything about this place was fun.

The service was fantastic. They're super nice, very friendly. Just fun.

Atmosphere is quaint and fun. It gives you that cozy feeling and being able to eat in comfort. Some places, the atmosphere just makes you uncomfortable and wanting to hurry up and finish so you can leave. Not here. Comfortable and laid back.

One thing I would say is a bit of drawback is their menu is huge. Way too many choices.

I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich. It came with chips and a pickle (checkout the pic). It was all super fresh. Everything. The bread. The Chicken Salad, even the chips were fresh. They had that hard-core crunch. Just great. It was all delicious. I'm getting hungry writing this out and thinking about it.

I also want to note the cleanliness of the place as well. Even the restroom was spotless.

A great place to stop in for a delicious meal in a laid back place.

Mediocre. I wanted a chicken sandwich with fries, but there are no substitutions allowed. She explained that "[they] just don't give the chips, and then would a the price of fries to the order" which means my sandwich went from 5.25 to 8.50, which I think is a high price for a chicken sandwich, fries, and no drink. I said "oh,well, if there isn't a way to substitute for an upcharge I'll just have it with the chips that it comes with.". Then she said "we're not like Red Robin and those bigger places" which explains why there's an extra charge for most things. The grilled chicken was ok, once I cut off the fast from the edges. It wasn't dry, but it was flavorless and small. I asked for no mayo, but I got no mayo and no tomato. The chips look like they are straight from a Ruffles bag, I was all least hoping for some homemade or freshly...

My wife ,and I come to Mc T's a couple times a month,doesn't sound like a lot of times,but we also drive a tractor trailer,and work away from home about 3 weeks a month. It's a nice Dairy Queen type ice cream shop ,with food, a mom and pop place that is very friendly and egor to give you the very best of what they serve.myself ,I like banna splits, as I did when I was a kid,and they always ask me how I want it, traditional, or with changes. My wife likes vanilla ice cream cone, and she is always served 1st, as it should be. I like to stay around and spend my money in my community. And the big named shops in the larger towns don't have the pleasurable experiences...
