This location is right in town and is very easy for us to get to. I guess depending on what you order will determine how quickly you get your items. I have a family of 6, so I'm always on the waiting list after I order.
Quality of the food? My kids love their chicken tenders. Wife likes their butter burgers, so they aren't horrible. I like their Mushrooms Swiss burgers! Their Ruben sandwiches are pretty good also. I find that their deluxe burgers really don't have that much flavor to them, so a little salt and pepper added helps for my taste. It maybe fine for other people's tastes. No saying bad, just my preferences. My kids and my wife say it taste good the way it is.
Service of food. It is a hit and miss like any other restaurants. It can get busy, so items can be forgotten I now always double check to make sure items are actually in the bags. Just take the time to take everything out and check even if it feels like a waste of time. There has been numerous times when I get home and have to call or go back to get missing items which can become an inconvenience to have to drive back to get 1 item. Like I mentioned before depending on how big your order is and also how many vehicles are in front of you in the drive-thru will determine how fast you get your food. Sometimes you can wait as long as 15 minutes or more.
Atmosphere of place is nice. If we do dine in. The staff is really nice. They always great you when you come in and that's a very nice jester. The place is usually very clean and tables are cleaned before you get there. Easy to order inside and the service I feel is a lot a quicker. Kids enjoy that you can fulfill your own drink that make it a treat for them to refill themselves.
I recommend this Culver's it is worth a try . We probably go 1 a month just because the size of our family, the bill reaches over $50. It still is a bit cheaper than some burger joints in this area. Prices are a bit high I think and adds up quickly with a...
Read moreOk, gave it another try today. Went through the drive-thru. Pulled up to place my order, was told to hold a moment (for roughly 3 minutes). Then placed my order...all I ordered was a drink. Was then told to pull forward. Waited again while the 2 cars in front of me were slowly taken care of. Got to the window to pay. Now normally my drink would already be prepared. Nope, seems pretty clear they don't even know what I ordered. Chaos is the only word I could use to describe it. They seem to have plenty of people on staff, but it's clear there has been no training, and no leadership either. Workers milling about in a meaningless fashion. You've got another worker trying in vain to find a home for a sack of food, walking from car to car, but it's a lost cause...clearly they either messed the order up, or the person(s) who ordered it got tired of waiting. You only get so much time while on lunch after all. Ultimately I gave up and drove off. Seems to me there must have been an ownership change. Service was always pretty decent in the past. Shame, since there really aren't too many decent restaurants in Monee other than Shoops. They get my business going forward! They always have their act together and the food is excellent. Always trust Culvers in Monee, IL for good quality food, but it seems the quality has dropped off significantly over past couple months. No doubt attributed to the fact that there is a shortage of manpower. Stopped in the lobby yesterday for lunch and after hearing a working tell one of the cooks that they will have to close their doors because they couldn't keep up with the orders it was very disappointing. Didn't seem to be a manager on duty. Will be a while before they return. Hope Culvers corporate office see this...
Read moreI found out I'm completely invisible to the employees at this location! I had no idea!
NEVER have I had the experience I had at this Culver's today. I've been to dozens of Culver's all over the United States and this is the first time I've ever left a bad review.
Walked in at 3:40 today and was the ONLY CUSTOMER. The young lady that was behind the counter right before I came in, turned and walked away and began mopping the floor. The young man who then came to the counter never acknowledged me, never even looked at me, kept his back to me and filled orders from the drive-thru window. About that time, two young men came from the back and I thought, "finally someone is actually going to be working the cash register and taking my order!". Nope, I was mistaken. They stopped over by the custard machine and were looking at something and smiling and cutting up and laughing.
Then I noticed the employee making the food had a different colored shirt on and I assumed was possibly a manager. She looked right at me and I thought, "surely she'll tell that guy to come over here and take my order", but no, they carried on as if I wasn't even there.
So after not being acknowledged by FIVE different employees, I realized I had obviously become invisible and this wasn't going to be anything like the dozens of other customer-focused Culver's I've been to across the United states. So I turned and walked out of the store and immediately regained my visibility! I know I did because I am now across the street having a delicious meal at PaPa Luis Mexican..... where I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door, even though the young lady was taking care of eight other customers. I was just relieved that I could be seen by her. Culver's had...
