*Food is good if it's made correctly, which unfortunately is extremely rare. Ingredients are always missing, or the quality & quantity is way less than it should be. *The following is what to expect while visiting Braums located in Monett, Missouri. *You begin by placing an order(we always order; 1-chicken salad, 2-burgers with fries, and 2 fountain drinks). *Proceed to the first window to pay. The only thing you can expect from this employee is your receipt. They never say a word unless you make them by asking a question. *Pull forward for the "BEST" part of your Braums experience. You have now arrived at the pick-up window. After a couple minutes, the window will open, an employee's arm quickly reaches out and hands you your drinks without saying a word or making eye contact. The window then slams shut, and you wait... After about another 5 minutes, the window opens, and you're given your burgers and fries(still no eye contact), then window slams shut. After another couple minutes window opens, and you are told to pull up and wait for your salad, this is where window slams shut for the last time. SO, IF ANYTHING is wrong or missing with the food they already handed you , you have to try to get their attention before the window closes. If they hear you, the window will open but GET READY, because the look they give you and their body language is PURE DISGUST, even if its just to ask them for a straw. Without a response the window then slams shut, while their grabbing you a straw you can see how pissed they are. The window then opens, straw comes out, and while you're trying to thank them, the window is slammed in your face. ** HEY, at least they finally made eye contact! You then pull up and wait another 5-8 minutes until an employee walks out hands you a (prepackaged, just add chicken) salad then walks away never saying a word. *You have now reached "CLIMAX", you arrived home just in time to "ENJOY" eating BRAUM'S DELICIOUS; soggy cold fries, cold burgers that are missing cheese or a tomato, and fountain drinks that only have two surviving ice cube and let's not forget about that salad they worked so hard to prepare... DAMN IT, THEY FORGOT THE SALAD DRESSING!!!!
**As for their fresh dairy items sold only inside store, I have to say BRAUMS IS THE ONLY PLACE I PURCHASE our MILK & FROZEN YOGURT, they...
Read moreTheir meat and dairy are fresh and unprocessed, which is AMAZING! Their fries are great if you're lucky enough to get them right out of the oil. We're not that lucky.. Unfortunately, their food is only delicious and correctly made around 70% of the time. The other 30% their food items are either completely missing ingredients, or they use such a miniscule amount, for example; your burger will have 1/4 of a tomato slice, 1 shred of lettuce, or a dime size amount of sauce(one bite worth). My wife orders the spicy chicken(grilled) sandwich every time, and it's NEVER made exactly the same. At times, the chicken is so hard that she's unable to bite through it, or it actually lacks a grilled piece of chicken, instead it looks like small scraps left from a grilled piece of chicken. I believe these issues are most definitely due to either inadequate training of ALL their employees or just hiring inadequate employees. The employees in the drive-thru(especially the food window) are NEVER friendly, and god forbid you have to let them know something isn't right about your order, they just stare at you, grab the bag or drink back, never saying a word. A few minutes later window opens back up, looking at you is that employee with the same nasty stare, your item is handed to you, and as you start to thank them or wish them a great day, you realize part way through your sentence, they have closed the window on you and turned their back or walked away. ** CORRECTION: There have been two different male employees who were very pleasant and beyond curtious that worked the drive-thru window, i dont believe they work there any longer, havent seen them again. We also go in and purchase all of our dairy products from their grocery store. ABSOLUTELY delicious, fresh, and way healthier than any of that toxic crap sold at supermarkets.
Come on, Braums, hire and train employees that can adequately...
Read moreThis place only deserves 1 star at best after tonight. The new manager named Jerry took our order after more than a 10 minute wait(all he said was I don't know why the other guy won't take your order). He then refused to allow us to order the special (Double quarter lbs jalapeno burger). Instead he ordered single and told us that was what we wanted and were getting. My husband didn't want argue because he felt like the manager was looking for a fight. We ate our food while watching the manager walk around micromanaging the staff. One customer asked if they could refill the ice in the fountain drink machine and he told them no that it took a quarter to get ice. He then proceeded to take the machine apart while telling them he had no idea where the ice went. My son wanted to buy some milk before we left, the manager had the grocery side cluttered up with salad boxes. I walked over to the manager to ask him what his name was and his immediate response in a sarcastic tone was "What? Did I make you cry?" I was a little surprised by his tone and the face and hand gestures (like he was imitating a crybaby). He finally said Jerry and that he was the new manager of 4 days. I thanked him and said "good to know". We waited at the register another 10 minutes to buy milk and finally left empty handed. The likelihood we go back is slim due to awful experience with him in charge. He and Braum's should be embarrassed by his...
