Days Inn by Wyndham Monett — Hotel in Monett

If you are reading this review right now because you are needing to book a hotel room in the Monett area and you're trying to decide which one you should choose, let me make it really easy for you: THIS ONE!!

From the parking lot, it's obvious that this Days Inn location checks all of the boxes that are probably on your list: ✓ conveniently located. Right off the east end of Bus 60, you're in walking distance of Wal-Mart, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, several fast food options, Mexican and Asian buffet restaurants, a nail salon, even a dispensary (if you're into that sort of thing). It's also within 5 minutes of Cox hospital, Tyson's, Schreiber's, Jack Henry, and the city park and YMCA. ✓ quiet and safe. The proximity to Bus 60 and nearby businesses gives the parking lot plenty of visibility, so I felt extremely safe leaving my vehicle parked in the lot overnight, but the parking lot can only be accessed through the lots for the businesses on either side, so traffic was minimal!! ✓ pet friendly. My child just happens to have four legs, and it's nearly impossible to find hotels that welcome her, especially without adding astronomical pet deposits and additional fees. For only $25 extra per night, I was able to bring her, and there is a huge grassy area behind the hotel where she could run and play!! Way nicer than the typical narrow strip of weeds bordering a busy parking lot. ✓ guest laundry. Conveniently located exactly in the middle of the building, no matter where you stay, you won't have to carry your laundry far. The coin operated machines are way cheaper than I anticipated, and they're kept super clean!!

What you CAN'T see from the curb are the spotlessly clean, modern, spacious rooms that come furnished with desks and office chairs, a mini fridge, lots of space to unpack, super comfy beds with three super plush pillows each, and a huge, clean, well -lit vanity. The shower had amazing pressure and the water stayed piping hot, too -- and for the second time EVER, I found a hotel bathtub clean enough for me to feel 100% comfortable taking an actual bath.

The REAL selling point, though, are the amazingly courteous, genuinely kind, infectiously friendly owners. They just radiate positivity and a completely authentic desire to make your stay perfect in every way. I left the front office smiling and in such a better mood after each and every interaction I had with them!

You guys are the standard by which all hotels...

The stay itself was ok. However i just traveled 18 hours and I am pregnant. Having the 2 ladies that do room service try and come into my room at 8am with no notice and then spend all morning yelling across the rooms at eachother really ruins the possibility of sleep. Then when we turned in the room key the manager had to check the room... so he and my husband went back to the room and checked the bed for.... cum stains. We got our deposit back but seriously? Not only was it messed up that i couldn't get sleep in the room that cost me 120$ but i wouldn't of gotten my deposit back if i had sex with my husband? Or the fact that they are checking for that? No idea whats happened here to cause them to search for that, but i feel kinda violated by this. And the only reason i didnt go to the front over the girls was cuz my husband was worried we wouldn't get our deposit back if i pissed the manager off. The room was nice, but musty...

This place is gross (room 106) there's stains on the wall from a lack of cleaning, black hairs on the so called clean towels, hairs on the bed and floor. The tub in the room above must have a leak that's never fixed because there's a hole in the ceiling of this bathroom that's been fixed a handful of times, but there was still a hole. I've read replies from the owner on other negative reviews and they always say "you should've said something, we would've moved you to a different room. Why even put someone in a room this gross. It should be a 39/night hotel. So if you stay here be sure to inspect to room early and if you arrive late. I suggest just sleeping in your car at the wal-mart. Will never stay here again! Also some of these 5 star reviews must be fake because if you go to their profile they only have 1 contribution and its a 5 star...
