(First review, read update below) They are blending vegetable/soybean oil with the olive oil, just being cheap. This is disgusting. This is not Italian Pizza, it is chinese, a fake imitation. To save a few cents they make the pizza worthless.
We should only buy pizza that has actual Olive Oil in it.
This type of place belongs in Oceanport, not Monmouth Beach. For example Scalas in Long Branch uses olive oil in their pizza and dosent blend it with cheaper terrible oils. I expect better from a place going into Monmouth Beach randomly, we don’t want this type of stuff. This is a prestigious town.
I have never seen an obese person in Monmouth Beach, and with this fake pizza that might change. Hopefully they stop blending the oils or go out of business.
Change or perish.
UPDATE:
Now the owner has responded saying this is false, well this is what I was told by the store employee today, so not sure who to believe, well if it is straight olive oil that is great and deserves 5 stars, but will have to confirm again.
Final Review:
I was shown in the kitchen the oils used, there is a blend of 90% soybean oil and 10% olive oil which I was told is not used in the pizza but rather other dishes.
This is still something not acceptable in Monmouth Beach, we are not poor and we can pay the difference, unlike patrons in the Red Bank location for example.
Soy causes Low Libido, Low sperm count, feminine voice
Soybean oil causes inflammation
This is something we would gladly put into the Oceanport food supply. But for Monmouth Beach we require actual olive oil, not a blend with vast majority soy.
Sure olive oil will be 4 times the price than the soybean oil, but we can pay the money for the actual olive oil, we want quality not to save money, if we wanted to save money we would be in Oceanport right?
Instead of cutting corners on quality to save a little bit of money, why not put it into consideration that you will just use actual olive oil, atleast for this new Monmouth Beach location. Using the cheapest oil on the market is not the way of doing business around here.
Lastly, the Pizza itself which is the main item doesn’t contain this soybean oil, so I will recommend it, I have bought it and it seems great.
I have now updated my review to 3 stars and it will be 5 once the soybean oil is banished from the kitchen.
Looking forward to seeing this...

When I walked in, the party of 3 behind the counter seemed lost. Not much on communication. The one didn’t even know how to pronounce the food…really? You work at an Italian establishment. It’s cavatelli!
Junk and food on the floor. Can someone clean up the place!? Geez! Is it that hard to make the impression of a restaurant!?
Food took longer than I was told.
Then the food…expensive and simply stated- poor. The stuffed rolls were not cooked enough, veggies were hard. I got a grandma pizza. Square pie but cut ln triangle slices like round?! The crust could be used for drywall patch work! Sauce had no flavor! C’mon guys! You’re in Monmouth Beach, the only game in town! ...

Politely emphasized that we needed them especially the plates..and we were feeding a lot of people. Told the lady I'd tip the driver 20% in cash, we didn't have dishes or utensils so it was really important to get that right. For a $60 order for a pizza with side salad and garlic knots..I feel like a dollar (maybe) worth of disposable plates and utensilsz isn't much to ask for, right?
Order came. No plastic utensils, no paper plates. Its almost like a joke, like the employees did it on purpose to entertain themselves. Forget...
