I don't know why all the bad reviews, unless they have new owners now, but I can assure you that none of these things they are talking about is what you will get now. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I am extremely picky about Asian cuisine. My boyfriend and I have decided that this is our new place, not only do they have a traditional menu to order from, but the food is wonderful. The plain white rice is so good that it can be used as the main course and the other dishes the sides. I honestly think they put crack in that rice it is so delicious. The fried rice off the traditional menu is also amazing. A friend of mine ordered it and told me it was so good she wanted to bathe in it, not being a fan of fried rice, I was curious and tried it. She was right, although I don't know I would bathe in it, but is was pretty damn amazing. If you want to try it, it was the vegetable fried rice. I can highly recommend the whole fried flounder in hot bean sauce... now THAT I would consider bathing in it. If I could eat this dish every day of my life I would die happy. I will warn you that it is a whole fish, head bones and all, but do not let it intimidate you it is delicious. Another good try is the pork rib and winter melon soup. I swear I ate that all winter long along with the tofu, seaweed and bean noodle appetizer. It is deliciously spicy and pairs really nice with the rich pork soup. Do yourself a favor and kick the American menu to the curb and pick up their traditional menu, you will be...
Read moreWe get good here semi often. The dishes have been a little hit and miss for us, but the food is good overall and always tastes fresh. I would recommend this restaurant for takeout. They are fast and friendly. We have never eaten inside.
We love the schezuan chicken and general tsos. We have also liked the sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki chicken. The white rice and pork fried rice are made very well.
The two dishes that are definitely misses are the orange and lemon chicken. The sauce orange chicken did not taste particularly orangey. It was much different than any others we have tried at many other restaurants. It may must be a matter of preference. The lemon chicken was not enjoyable at all for us. The chicken was really thin and dry. The breading was not bad. The sauce was not very lemony at all and was very thin. This may not have been a big deal but since the chicken was so the sauce didn't make it any...
Read moreNot as good of an experience as it used to be. We sat in the bar, it was too dark to read the menu, I get it, it’s a lounge but it doesn’t have to be so dark. The strobe light and the blaring Hispanic music was really annoying. The food wasn’t very good and I had to ask for my soup after my meal came out. The sweet and sour pork was hard and the crab puffs had small trace amount of crab, tasted mostly like cream cheese. The sweet and sour sauce has changed as well. It’s not the bright, tasty sauce it used to be, it’s kinda brownish and watery. It’s a shame that it’s changed so much. It’s a Chinese restaurant with a darkly lit room, loud hispanic music, a strobe light, and lowered quality food. What happened to the Chinese decor? We were really looking forward to going in again after the remodel but we won’t...
