Benny's Home Cooking — Restaurant in Monroe Charter Township

We stumbled upon this restaurant after living in Monroe for 6 months. It’s hidden somewhat in a strip center. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the amazingly attentive staff and the great prices. They offer delicious home cooked meals. Yummy biscuits covered in gravy with an egg on top and hash browns. My favorite! They offer everything from breakfast to dinner. Broasted chicken, prime rib, meatloaf, to name just a few. Menu isn’t overly complex. A simple 2-sided design. They aren’t open on Sundays. The prices are very reasonable and it’s quiet and easy to have a conversation with your family or friends. NO. NO. NO DONT EAT HERE, THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD , MY STEAK WAS RUBBERY , IN MY HOME FRIES WAS LITERALLY LIKE MASHED POTATOES , ME AND MY WIFE SPENT $25.
