Wendy's — Restaurant in Monroe Charter Township

This is the third time this month I've went thru the drive thru at this Wendy's at this particular location because it is soooo close to my home and is the only other fast food restaurant open at 10:30pm besides the McDonald's directly across the street from Wendy's. I don't like the way McDonald's food taste at all anymore, so I made the choice go to Wendy's. I've never had a problem eating at Wendy's before except I think the portion sizes of there food are way to small for there way to high expensive menu prices. Still I wanted something that tasted more like real food so My husband, my 15 yr old daughter, and myself ordered from Wendy's drive thru menu we all got burgers fries and cokes for our drinks . The wait time in line was pretty fast, I still thought man there so expensive after paying. Once we got our food and drinks we drove directly home to eat our Wendy's which keep in mind is less than a 5 min drive . I can walk to this Wendy's in probably 15 min. So there is no reason our french fries should be under cooked, old, and cold which all 3 cartoons were this way Me and my husband had already taken drinks of our cokes on our way home and we're upset because they obviously gave use lime cokes instead of regular coke so we couldn't now drink our pops because we neither one like lime now our fries aren't only not done but have been sitting around and are nasty and cold. Yuck I was starting to get upset because this wasn't the first time we had this happen at this location it's happen two other recent visit at this time of the evening . This time we start eating our Dave's Classic Singles to discover once again our meat is way under cooked and raw this now makes the second time I've gotten raw beef now at this time of evening at this Wendy's location. The time before the last two times my family has eaten there I order two hrs bacon cheese burgers with extra mayo. I love Wendy's Jr bacon cheese burgers so I was so upset to discover my tiny little beef patty was burnt, black, and hard . I couldn't even eat it . It was so nasty I could've have used it for a hockey puck it was so hard . You could diffently tell they probably made up a bunch of meat since it was almost time to close and either left them on the grill to keep it warm but instead burnt up the meat, because they didn't want to make new meat because they would rather serve u a black, hard, piece of beef (which by the way was still cold.) So they could close up and leave faster. IK how these fast food places work I've worked fast food since I was 16 Wendy's being my 2nd job I've also been management in fast food so when I get food like I've been getting the past 3 times I've ate at this particular Wendy's location I usually have an idea why the food is not being prepared correctly. This is the third time within the last month now my husband has wasted his hard earned money at this Wendy's. I even went against my better judgement and went there anyways despite my other recent bad experiences here. So needless to say I m not happy and will not go eat at this Wendy's location ever again and feel I should be compensated for my money since all the 3 of my most recent visits my family could not eat the food from this Wendy's. Wendy's owners or corpration really need to address the issues on the night shift at this location before they end up giving someone a food borne illness that could end up potentially fatal to someone . Wendy's prices are way to high to be getting uneatable food not mention their beef patties are soooo much smaller than I recently remember them being . If you're going to give me less then you shouldn't be charging 8$ or more for a regular size meal . That's just out way over priced and your getting nothing. I usually leave Wendy's still hungry if that doesn't tell u something about the size of their meet Patty's and Fri cartons. Stopped by for breakfast before work. Ordered a honey butter chicken meal with a frosty cinco as well as a extra honey butter chicken sandwich. Whomever took the order was at speaker was pretty rude, I asked for extra chocolate in my frosty cinco they told me it would be a up charge I said fine even though of the at least 25 times I’ve ordered never been up charged. Yet I was charged for a jr frosty which was 1.19 so 1.19 for extra chocolate? That’s a little over board! Then I get all the way to work realize I have a biscuit with no chicken just a cut biscuit. I call Wendy’s I talk to maybe the manager I don’t know I couldn’t even get a name just said jes who was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Told me I can drive back and she’ll replace sandwich I explained I’m at work no way I can come back now. Asked if meal could be replaced she said no she not authorized. Cut me off most of conversation. I’m at work with no breakfast even though I paid for it. At least you can do is replace whole meal I’m wasting my time and gas driving back! 2 weeks ago I ordered 2 lg seasoned potatoes that were so gross from old grease in the frier, I called and they told me I could come get them the next weekend (I work at 4am Monday thru Friday so am unable to go thru the week) went back following weekend the lady at the counter was extremely rude and cussing because someone else didn't fill the cups (I should not be hearing this as a customer) I recieved my replacement of the lg seasoned potatoes that were not all the way cooked. Called again to complain about the customer service I received and the uncooked potatoes and was told to come back this weekend to get them replaced once again. So I go in to get them and was once again treated extremely rudely by the girl running the counter especially when I asked for a refund on the drink I purchased because they were out of coke. I declined the seasoned potatoes and will NEVER return to this location. Bad attitude from everyone at the store including manager. Do not recommend anyone to visit this location! I am a assistant manager and if any of my employees acted like the employees at this location they would immediately get called to the office with a write up waiting for them to sign.
