I want to start with that I've been here many times, both alone and with others, and that I love the food. The service is always superb and I haven't had to send any food back.
However, on this last trip, I was not pleased. It wasn't the food. That was great. I had the Meat Lovers Omelet and the French Toast Platter. What I was not pleased with was my waitress tonight. I've never had this particular waitress before so I don't know if this is normal for her but her service was not great.
Once I was seated, it took awhile before I saw her to take my order. Once I had finally ordered, the last time I saw her at all was when she brought out my food. As I continued eating, at no point did she come by to check and make sure everything was alright. Every other waitress here does but she doesn't apparently. I had to ask a different waitress that wasn't mine to please have a refill after waiting about 12 minutes with a clearly empty cup placed at the corner at the end of the table. Once I had finished eating and was ready to go, I waited another 12 minutes before I asked a second waitress to please bring me another drink, a box, and my check. When the second waitress showed up with my box, drink, and check, that's when my original waitress finally showed up again.
As I'm getting ready to leave, I had the cashier hand me back the rest of my change in five dollar bills. I gave $5 each to the waitress who got my first refill, the second waitress whole got me my box, check, and second refill, and then I even gave one to the waitress/hostess that greated and seated me because that was more helpful than the waitress I ended getting that was supposed to do everything that the other two had to do.
Now, before people go off saying I should've given a tip to this waitress still or that I'm being too hard or that I don't know what I'm talking about or that maybe it was too busy, none of that is the case. I've worked in multiple fast food place, customer service places, I've served before as well, and like I said before, I've been here many times and never had an issue. This night was not a busy night. It wasn't packed and there was still plenty of space in the parking lot. (They have a tiny parking lot that makes it quite hard to get parking when it's busy. )
I do not believe in the "customer is always right." I also believe in proper service. I don't think not checking on your customer, forcing me to have two different waitresses that were not mine help me, and then showing up as I'm leaving is deserving of a tip. I'm a very flexible customer. I'm willing to wait for food, get my refill, and understand when mistakes happen. I don't expect you to be there in a moments notice. There's other customers to worry about. If I had seen my original waitress moving around the dining area and helping other customers, I would've been even more patient. That's the thing though. I never saw her moving through the dining area. There was no way to get her help, attention, or to flag her down. It wasn't until I asked the second waitress for my check did my original waitress show up again. Not acceptable.
I've voice my concerns to the restaurant and they have said that they will speak to her. This experience has not stopped me from wanting to return here at all. If she is still there on any night that I return, I will be making sure I'm not placed in any of her tables though. I will not name this woman because I don't believe in that unless absolutely necessary. Hopefully this doesn't happen...
Read moreMy family and I decided to eat here yesterday August 8, 2023. What a bad mistake that was! Ordered a hot turkey sandwich and side salad. Waitress brought out our salads and we didn't eat a third of it when our main entree came out. The bread used with the turkey sandwich was thick garlic bread. It was terrible with a strong imitation butter and garlic flavor. I told the waitress that I didn't like it so she offered another entree for my Mom and I. Mom ordered the hot turkey sandwich as well. We said chicken tenders but we wanted them well done since the turkey on the sandwich was not well done as well.
She went to the kitchen and brought us out chicken tenders that were already made . They weren't made fresh. No sides or anything. I asked her if we got French fries or something with it and she said we already had mashed potatoes, but we didn't eat the potatoes. They were OLD! Brown mashed potatoes! Anyhow, she brought us out a plate of fries then dropped the plate on our table, pee'd off she was. I guess she wasn't needing the money cause I only left her a penny.
To top if off, she brought us our bill, we didn't get no discount, nor did a manager come out to our table about these issues. The cashier never asked me how our meal was or anything. Actually, she didn't say one word.
After seeing the way they treat their customers....

Read moreSo today is the 2 of December ,, Jerry lamb my boyfriend came up to get our brunch & we get the bag & our food is spilled in bottom of bag !!! I call to explain the food was good , However scrambled eggs was at bottom of bag & one piece of bacon ,, on his chicken dinner one strip and some sweet potato fries was also at bottom ! I call and they want the food back ,, we waited the time to get it & been coming there for months ! Been our favorite ,,, But they say they want food back !! WTH we was hungry , we ate what was in the boxes , just not what was in bottom of bag ! When you’re eating their 3 x a week and they treat you like this that’s unacceptable behavior! Not like we asked for all free food ,,, it was closer to brunch and they want us to bring food back and wait again ??? We go out of our way to come there ! All his electrician friends come there as well , well no more for anyone of us ! We don’t dine in as much bc it’s very loud and annoying! So we get it to go mostly ,, However he eats in there quickly at lunch with his co workers ,,, at lunch ,,, word spreads fast ! Would you eat food iff a paper sack ? No you wouldn’t ! But had no problem. Taking our money for months ! Won’t be back and neither will the rest of co workers 3-4 x a week hope the petty things was worth the business ! Disappointed...
