Bagel Bliss Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Monroe Township

This is the first time visiting this establishment since I moved to Monroe about 3 years now. I have to say I will not be retuning. The woman working the counter was extremely rude. If she is the owner then she should not be guest facing. She should hire people to replace her nasty attitude. As soon as you walk in she bombards you right away can’t even think about what you truly want. I asked for a half dozen of bagels and cream cheese. Unfortunately, I did not specify which flavor. In that moment, I apologized to her that I did not specify what flavor, she immediately went over to my bag and threw the plain cream cheese that she had already prepared for me while huffing and puffing. I really doubt that cream cheese will go to waste. While I was standing there watching her do this, another customer was next to me and said wow, what is that about?? Not quite sure why that was necessary in the least. But being a small business in the times we live in that reputation is based off of word of mouth, this woman should not have been acting this way at all. As I stated, I will not be returning and I will be sure to let others...

So, we used to love this place, it’s super close and has had good bagels...but it’s gotten pretty miserable. First off, the blond woman who works here is just not very nice or good with customers. She barks at you to keep telling her what else you want, she completely messed up one of our recent orders, and another time she didn’t tell us the credit card machine was broken until everything was done, then she just kinda stared at the group of customers there with no apologies or trying to find a solution, so we all just left. They are also usually are out of the good bagels by 9 or so.

The good thing is that there’s another bagel bizarre which seems to be miles better just a mile or so down the road...so, just go there instead, and save yourself the trouble. The place is ok sometimes, the guy who works here seems better, but...

After moving to the area, this was the first bagel place we tried. We went on a Sunday morning and it was dead, there was no one else there. That should have been the first indication that something was wrong. But we gave it a chance anyway since it was so close and convenient for us.. The store itself is dark and dusty, most of the bagels were gone so ordered 2 sandwiches on plain bagels. Both sandwich orders were messed up. The bagels tasted stale and were hard. I am assuming they don't make the bagels on premises. Will not be...
