Ok so last year we would order from here weekly. The wait time usually took about an hour but the food was consistent and good. The last few times we have ordered the food has not been good. But I think the owner is very nice so we gave them 1 more shot . We ordered tonight and this was the last straw for us. After an hour and twenty minutes I call to see where our food is. The lady couldn't find my order at 1st. Put me on hold and came back saying it's just about to leave now. I was upset. All she said is sorry we got busy. When we called they told us an hour. It took an hour and 45 min to get our food! Ok fine get the food and it's absolutely disgusting. It's ICE cold and just isn't good. Getting busy I get but letting my food sit for that long, not remaking it or reimbursing me.back anything is a joke. They have went way down hill. Also the women I spoke to on the phone who is not the owner ( I can tell by her voice) was very rude. So disappointed . I'm in the food industry and it takes alot for me to leave a bad review!!! From now on I'm driving 20 minutes away out of town to pick up my food. Get it together fresco. You lost...
Read moreI'm regretfully giving Fresco Pizzeria a 1-star review, a sharp decline from what it once was. Their latest policy of charging for basics like crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese on a large pie pickup is a major letdown. This additional $1.11, which includes an inflated 4% credit card fee (over the usual 3.5% merchant fee), is a clear sign of them trying to nickel and dime loyal customers.
Furthermore, the experience worsens if you choose to sit in the dining area to the right of the entrance. Here, expect to pay even more, a policy that seems absurd for a pizzeria that once prided itself on its welcoming atmosphere and customer-first approach.
This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is disheartening. My last visit to Fresco Pizzeria was exactly that - my last. For my next pizza outing, I'll happily travel extra to Bonetti on Texas Road, where the focus remains on quality food and customer appreciation, not squeezing out every penny. It's a sad goodbye to a place I once loved, but these recent changes are too off-putting...
Read moreNew owner, better quality. The previous owner let quality slip after the reopening. We had the two-for special, house salad, split one appetizer, two dinners and shared dessert. Bread and oil dip came right away by our lively server, Kathleen. Started with house salad, typical salad for a pizzarea. We had the calamari appetizer. Lightly breaded, hot and perfectly cooked, not rubbery, nice marinara dipping sauce. For entree I had the meat lasagna and wife had stuffed rigatoni with meat sauce. Both portions were huge. Lasagna had the right amount of mozzarella cheese on top, good cheese and plenty of meat. The stuffed rigatoni sauce had lots of meat and was very good. Dessert we had the cannoli. Good filling and crust was crisp and light. The owner came over to ask how everything was and we had a pleasant conversation with him. He thanked us for coming in, we will definitely be back to try the pizza which looked and...
