El Paisano — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I don't want to hear that "it's not their problem if the moron who delivered my order, left it outside my door in the pouring rain. Especially that the note to the delivery person clearly stated " DO NOT LEAVE BEHIND THE DOOR.. RING THE BELL. As the restaurant who charged me for the food, it's your responsibility to hire a reputable company to deliver. You need to take responsibility. Stop being cheap and hire a delivery driver. I paid almost $50 for 2 orders of chicken tacos. Not only were they tasteless, the amount of chicken in the tacos was pathetic. They don't bother sending you salsa, sour cream or anything else with the tacos. That's because they charge you for everything. I don't know why my wife decided to order from them. We gave them a chance when they first opened and nothing has changed. To make things worse, I tried calling El Paesano several times to complain about this and there was no answer. I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't order from this place ever. As a former Cafe owner, I took reviews seriously. Unfortunately this place is just not good enough. I had barbacoa tacos and my family had chicken tacos. Mine came with fairly dry meat and not good taste. Since the tacos didn't have anything else in them, no veggies or anything, the taste of just dry meat was not what I expected. I didn't try chicken tacos, my family however thought they were tasteless. They put some effort to make the place look authentic and that is good. The food from Chipotle is better than this however. Wish them good luck, but if they want to survive they will need to cook better, give the food some good flavor. Otherwise I don't see them...

Was hoping for a solid local option as Monroe is somewhat lacking many good choices. The tacos had many pieces of gristle and were dry. The rice and beans were completely tasteless and overall disappointing. For what it cost I was expecting high quality food. It's a local place and we need more here in Monroe. I hope the business is a success...
