My husband and I went here for the first time about a month ago for a date night. It was a Saturday night during the dinner rush. I would say the place was pretty full. (almost every table/if not all had patrons eating at it) I was pretty impressed by their setup, even though it is a small place they seemed to have a pretty good logistical setup: the chefs behind the sushi bar, someone who expedited the food as well as waited on the tables, and then one last person who was at the hostess stand. Both the expediter and the hostess seemed to pivot pretty well between guests eating in the restaurant and those who were getting take-out. Even with them having a steady stream of customers I never felt like we weren't receiving a high level of service. In regards to the food, I would say they are a little higher priced but I would be willing to pay it again simply because the quality/freshness of the sushi matched their price. (i.e. you get what you pay for) We shared a sushi/sashimi platter for two and I was surprised that we both got a soup and salad with it. I was also impressed the soup and salad were much larger portion sized than other comparable sushi places. (and I have been to a lot in this area) Based on our experience I would definitely eat there again or at least order takeout. I would advise though due to how small the dining area is that if you have a large party or you are going during a peak period, that you might have a wait.

Suki Sushi is Monroe's best Japanese spot. It's small and charming and a very popular for takeout. Lots of locals come here on the regular including my wife and I and we have been coming for a couple years now. The business is family owned and service is always on point! Everything here is good from the hibachi dinners to their rolls! The restaurant itself is not large, but the food and service is excellent. We probably eat in or take out atleast once a month. If you're in the Monroe area, definitely stop by for a bite!

Little hidden gem, food was so delicious. We were looking for a sushi place near Old Bridge and stumbled upon this, so happy we did. Everything was really good.

I called this place to order food via phone, I gave her my phone number and address and asked her if I can pay by card through the phone and she said yes you can, to double check I asked her again Will the delivery guy bring the visa machine with him she said yes!!! Hr and half later: I called to see why they take are taking too long, and she said you didn’t come to pick up the food!!!! I said pick up the food, she said yes!!! I am wondering if she doesn’t want to get the blame on her or she’s really dumb and doesn’t understand English but I am so mad now not because I didn’t get the food but because she hang up on me and when I tried to call again she doesn’t answer my phone!! They literally don’t know anything about customer service, such a terrible...

This place is wonderful. I won’t presume to be an expert critic of sushi but from what I’ve tried in the local area this place is in a category of its own. Service is excellent and effort is always seemingly maximized.

The food is the star of the show. The rolls themselves are clearly distinct from one another, all feel both in texture and taste as though high quality fresh ingredients are used, and most importantly are consistent. I’ve visited nearly a dozen times, all of which reaffirm suki’s role in my life as the...
