Shanghai Chinese have to say is one of my favorite Chinese takeout in the Monroe/ Spotswood area their food typically is very good sometimes just good just depends on who’s cooking that particular day some of your favorite dishes are the general toes chicken fried dumplings the fried wontons roast pork lo mein shrimp mefin. Their delivery is usually very on point sometimes a little bit slow but the place does get busy so take it for what it’s worth Stef on hand is usually very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend a place the only reason for a four out of five star review is that sometimes the food is very good...

We have been ordering from Shanghai for about half a year now and couldn't be happier with it. I gave up meat so I stick to tofu and vegetable dishes, can't speak on the meat. The ingredients taste fresh and clean. Even the fried dishes don't have that heavy fried feeling.

It is rare to find a Chinese/Japanese restaurant, and as good as the Chinese menu is we prefer the Japanese. The dumplings are excellent, and the tofu teriyaki is always on point. Salad that comes with the meal and dressing is delicious too.

Really, a gem restaurant. It's not just the average, around the corner...

This place makes very good Chinese and Japanese style food. Everything tastes good, except for their chicken which is sometimes a little chewy. The only real bad things about this place is where it's located (It's not extremely easy to pull into, nor is it extremely eye catching), and the wait time, which can be fairly long. The wait time obviously depends on how much you order, and if you are ordering food for a family, I would suggest calling and ordering instead of walking in and ordering. For a family of five, the wait time is anywhere from 20 minutes...
