I’ve been putting this review off, but it’s been a long time coming. Last October, my grandmother, father, mother, and I came to this restaurant. My father lives in Bethel, and my grandmother, who chose this place, lives in Danbury. So we traveled a bit so my grandmother could enjoy her burger. Anyway, I noticed that my father, who has long hair reaching past his shoulders and was wearing a tank top, was being glared at by this frumpy, chunky, middle-aged Caucasian man standing behind the counter. When he realized I was glaring back at him in response to his haughty stares, he stopped.
However, when my mother, having decided what she wanted, approached his register, he, in a snide and condescending tone, pointed to the sign and said, “You have to go over to the other register.”
My guy. Step off that pedestal of yours. You work at a Dutchess. If you can’t do your job properly, or if you feel you’re too good to be working that job with the kind of people you so delusionally look down upon, then maybe you should quit so that they can hire a more emotionally mature individual...
Read moreCustomer service is key to a growing business and i feel that was not given. When I place an order through the drive thru and the attendant (we'll nickname him BOBBY) says to me ^what else" and gives me the price only then thats what I call an abrasive person. If I'm spending my hard earned money in exchange for a meal I truly believe good customer service should co.e along with it, whatever personal issue he may have (if any) it should be left at the door when work starts. My measly money may not mean anything, however I'm quite sure the ne t restaurant begs to differ. I always leave reviews for others to know .y experience and give it one more try. I hope you have a conversation with the attendant and let it be known that attitudes can be detrimental to a business, especially coming out of...
Read moreI ordered a salad and was aghast when they charged $0.50 extra for dressing! not EXTRA dressing, just any at all, after they asked what kind of dressing would you like. I noticed the $0.50 charge pop up on the screen & asked if they charge people who order french fries for ketchup & she looked annoyed & said no. They always take forever in the drive through even if there’s nobody in front of you, and the staff can never be bothered with pleasantries such as hello, thank you, have a nice day. Driving from New Milford to the ferry in Bridgeport, this is one of the few food options you pass, the only one besides DD with a drive through, and the only one that sells salad so it’s a shame. The 2 stars were given instead of 1 because i remember eating fried oreos from there a long time ago that were...
