On a Wednesday night I placed an online order two (10 piece) combos at 615pm. Received notification of the order that told me the order would be ready in 16-21 minutes. Upon arrival, the smoke in the restaurant was so thick I thought I was in a casino bar. There were no open tables for anyone wanting to dine in as every table was occupied by customers waiting on to-go orders. While waiting, I did a quick count of 28 people waiting. There were others outside. I overheard one customer state she had been waiting one and half hours. Upon hearing this, and when I was finally able to get the attention of the manager, I asked to cancel my order and credit my account. The manager advised me and another customer, who was also requesting a cancellation, she couldn't perform this and would have to call her boss. After several minutes on the phone with her boss and then going through all of the waiting to-go tickets my order was cancelled. Just as I was leaving, one of the cooks become so stressed he claimed to be quitting. Really didn't understand what caused this problem. There were 3 employees in the cooking area, 2 employees up front and an on-duty manager. First, the owner needs to invest in better ventilation. The smoke from the fryers was over the top. Second, an expert needs to assess their operation. The food is always good and I wasn't unhappy with the employees but I wasted an hour of just wait time not including my drive there and then to another restaurant to wait there too. Lesson learned. Read moreI am sitting in my car outside of this "establishment" in utter disbelief! To cut to the chase, my husband ordered a 10-piece combo. He likes them very well done. We reiterated that over the phone when we placed the order. When the wings came out and were not well done, he sent them back. When the waitress returned the second time, the wings were now in a different box and the paper underneath was greasy. The wings were still not crisp. They looked as if they had been re-submerged in grease. He decided rather than bother them again to just get a refund and go somewhere else. The waitress took the bag back inside and then a young man who identified himself as Logan approached the car. We assumed he was the manager coming to apologize. Wrong! After we explained the situation we were told "I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to refund you! We assured him them that nothing had been kept or removed from the bag. We simply weren't satisfied and wanted a refund instead of the food. Long story short, we were ultimately refused that basic customer service! He tried to tell us that we had to keep the food we didn't want until my husband asserted that he would not dispose of the restaurant's trash in addition to being charged for something that for him was not edible. I waited over 60 minutes (yes, a full HOUR) just to pick up an order that should’ve been ready long before I even got there. And let me be clear: this wasn’t during a rush or some crazy lunch hour. There were barely any customers, and still the staff was moving like they were stuck in slow motion.
I asked politely for an update, and the attitude I got in return was unbelievable. Rude, dismissive, and straight-up disrespectful — like I was an inconvenience to them for trying to do my job. No communication, no apology, not even basic courtesy. Just nasty looks and an “it’ll be ready when it’s ready” kind of vibe.
If you’re ordering from this location, good luck — because the way they run things here is beyond unprofessional. And if you’re a fellow Dasher? Avoid this place if you can.
