I visit Bozeman often for work and love going to all the new places popping up, so when one of my co-workers mentioned going to MAP brewing company, I was all for it. What an amazing location, there was plenty of parking and it was packed inside. Since this was our first visit we weren't exactly sure what to expect. After finding seats upstairs we (6 ladies) went down stairs to order. I told the tall skinny woman bartending that it was our first visit and asked if they had any wine. With a nasty look on her face and a condescending voice she explained that this was MAP BREWERY, they brew beer so that's what they serve. With that said if I wasn't with 5 other people I would have turned around and walked out but I didn't, but what I did WANT to say was "Well, I'm from Helena & at Lewis & Clark Brewery "WHERE THEY BREW BEER" they also serve wine and have polite bartenders, but I didn't. So instead I hope the owners read this and give her a little class on customer service and let her know rudeness is NOT tolerated, if you don't like serving the public or your job, move on. On another note we had one of the most amazing young kids (Payton) cleaning tables upstairs that suggested I try the beer brewed in a wine barrel that was light and refreshing, so I did and it was wonderful. Payton changed my entire attitude and evening after my rude bartender experience. This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and Fantastic beer (so all my friends said). I'll definitely be going back to MAP and suggesting it to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went here for a PBS fundraiser not even knowing that they had food ā that was quite a surprise! Not only do they have food, but their food is excellent! We ordered the Chicken Lollipops, Fried Pork Belly Sliders, a chicken sandwich, and a classic burger with a fried egg. First of all, any restaurant thatāll add a fried egg to your burger gets a special place in my heart.
The chicken lollipops were really fun and the sauce options were great! I could easily have eaten 14 of the pork belly sliders, but Iām glad I didnāt so I could try everything else. I didnāt try the chicken sandwich but my SO was definitely a fan, especially with the honey gastrique (which is a super interesting sour-sweet sauce that goes perfectly with fried chicken). The burger was cooked well done (not really my preference) but the awesome bun, fresh toppings, and fried egg easily cancelled that out.
The atmosphere was awesome! They had a fairly big dining room with surprisingly comfortable seating (even if you arenāt seated in a booth), an indoor balcony with [probably] even better views, and an out door patio looking out to the Bozeman Beach and some beautiful mountains.
I cannot overstate how awesome our righteous-haired server Zach (Zack?) was! The food and the venue earned this place a 5/5 star review, but Zach earned it an additional 5. Thatās 10 out of 5 stars, pretty good all things considered. Weāll definitely be back a few times...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped here for food and drink before heading the Yellowstone and it's one of the best decision ever . First and foremost: you need to put down your name in their digital wait-list. It's very easy, go to their website and do that. They will text you when the table is ready. the location is in the opposite of downtown bozeman, but it's close enough. It's right next to a small lake and with the mountains on the background, the view is so amazing the food: solid, it's not the best beer food I ever had but good enough. +Their poutine was good, the gravy was very delicious. I wish they put some more cheese curbs on though. The fried chicken sandwiches was good, marination was on point. But I didn't like the pickles they placed inside, they reduced the juice and made the sandwiches soggy way too fast. The bun was fresh baked! The brat sandwiches was delicious, the best amongst what we ordered. The brat had a bit of smoked flavor in there and the mustard sauce just lightened up the flavors perfectly. Smoked wings with buffalo sauce. they were a bit too salty for my taste. Their blue cheese sauce was good though. THE BEER was absolutely delicious. We did a flight and we did like all of their beer. But our fav is the IIPA High Country, so rich and deep in flavor. We had a pint for each of us and took home a growler of this goodness. Overall, this place was amazing. We liked it a lot and Highly...
