Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Montgomery

Might be the slowest fast food in all of Montgomery! This was my second visit after a 25+ minute visit for one milkshake over 3 months ago. I didn’t have very high hopes, but I don’t like to rate an establishment after only one visit. This time I pulled up at the booth, with only 3 other cars there as well. I pushed the red button and proceeded to wait 10 minutes. No reply, no “be with you in a moment”, nothing. About a minute in my wait I could hear the cashier talking to the car next to me telling them they only accept cash payment, subsequently that car drove away, they obviously intended not to pay in cash. So at this point it was only my car and 2 others. So after about a total of 10 minutes I decided to drive away remembering my previous visit took over 20 minutes for one simple shake. (That frankly was one of the worst shakes I’ve ever had).

I drove down the street to Burger King, bought a shake (saved a dollar), was treated kindly and was enjoying the shake after less than 2 minutes. I WILL NEVER Return to this...

I placed my orders through the app. The last time I did that I had to wait a long while and then go inside to find my food on a shelf. The manager said that the times on the app are not correct. I said but my food is ready, it’s just sitting there. When I got to my destination my eggs had been cooked on an unclean grill. They had dark color throughout and around the edges. My bacon was undercooked and had to be taken off and not eaten. Today, I thought that I would try them again because this site used to be my go to spot before the fire. Today during the lunch hours, I had to wait again and there was only four or five cars on the lot. My food was ice cold. As if the fries were placed under an air conditioner vent. The smashed burger wasn’t as cold as the fries but it wasn’t even warm. Since the fire this site has really gone down. It is a neighborhood store and I was very happy that it reopened. OMG!! Usually I love sonic but their service, LORD Their customer service is just 🤦🏿‍♀️. So I have many horrible experiences but I'll only name 2. I was with my dad at sonic and they took FOREVER then FINALLY got our order!with my mom we waited in forever and when we FINALLY got our order taken they didnt have what we wanted. I have multiple bad experiences and sometimes the food is DIS-GUS-TANG! like they didn't even try to cook it well. Ugh! And when I ask my dad can we go to sonic he said "we dont have time for sonic" cause of their service. One time i went with my Grandmother. SHE had to wait for a long time and I felt bad.
