Sweet Rice — Restaurant in Montgomery

First time I went was last week. Awesome experience, had to try again this week. Last week I ordered the Fish cakes and Cotton Candy boba tea. Today I had planned on ordering the same except the lady said they were out of the boba that goes in the tea(it is a smoothie though). I was disappointed but thought maybe I can order a rice cake instead of the boba tea. I asked if I could sample one of the best sweetest kind they have, she said 4 minutes. But she never brought the sample out so I didn't bother ordering a rice cake. I did order 2 Fish cakes. She did not ring up two fish cakes nor did she make two. I realized she was only making one and told her I asked for two. She thought I meant to go. Then she let the Fish cakes stay cooking until they started burning. She thn begin to make the 2nd order of my Fish cakes. She then brought me the burned fish cakes and I told her I do not want those burned fish cakes. I asked her to remake them. She said taste it you want to try them. I said no they are literally burned. I want you to remake them. She said oh, remake. She made the 2nd order of fish cakes, they came out wonderful. Then she made the remake order, she dropped one of my fish cakes in the back of the machine picked it up then put it in my bag with the other fish cakes. I said no ma'am I do not want those. She asked what. I said just give me a refund. A guy witnessed the whole thing because I asked him did you just see that, he said yeah that's crazy. I said that is nasty. She actually charged him twice for one cup of coffee even as he told her the first transaction is pending. She said it didn't go through swipe your card again. He said it won't charge me twice will it, she said no. Then she charged him twice. This place has a serious language barrier. I actually think the place got a lot of potential but poor customer service. I was...

Update! We came back with more family and we all shared 2 different bingsu bowls, one mango and the other was called injeolmi bowl. It was very good again! We also got the fried fish waffle with Nutella on the inside. They were so yummy. Recently me and my mom have been trying to find local places that we haven't been to yet, and this place was AMAZING. The dessert bowl I got was incredible! I got a small mango shaved ice bingsu and it was a really big portion. The shaved ice kind of turns into creamy texture, and it was so good and refreshing, there was mango toppings on half, and half Boba mango flavor on top with some ince cream on top. This was the best thing I have had recently. There's lots of other things as such a cute/welcoming decor and atmosphere. The only thing is that some of the prices are expensive. But we loved itthat I want to come back...

I went here on my birthday recently to try bubble tea for the first time and brought my brother along as he too was curious. He got green apple and I was pleasantly surprised to see mint chocolate tea as an option. Both were delicious (and as we ordered to-go, we put our teas in the fridge at home where the tapioca could soak up the flavor, which made it even better!). We also got two orders of the "bungeoppang" red bean fish pastries, which have a waffle-tasting exterior and a lightly sweet bean inside. They were served a dozen per order and made right when we ordered them. The hot pastries and cold tea paired perfectly and my brother wouldn't stop talking about how much he enjoyed them for the whole day. We're definitely going to be returning as we want to try more...
