The Cheesecake Empori-Yum — Restaurant in Montgomery

These people ruined the catering at a 55k wedding with 250 guest! We met with this vendor and paid them in full 7 months prior to the wedding date. Our wedding coordinator was thurough in his expectations of the dinning and the vendor knew our expectations. One month prior to the wedding the coordinator reached out to the location again with advice on how to properly staff for the amount of people and to go over the specifics. Two weeks prior to the wedding we were asked for an additional $855, and it was for drinks and drinkware only. We paid instantly. My wedding coordinator and us explained the expectations repeatedly to this vendor. They only viewed the wedding location 1 day prior to the wedding when they had full access to it for 7 months. On the day of the wedding...... Some guest did not get what they RSVP'D Some guest didn't get food at all Some guest got plates we had clearly explained they were allergic to Desserts were never served They ran out of food They did not have the proper dinnerware requested They were understaffed badly They were extremely rude They did not have food warmers which made some plates cold This list goes on. We contacted the vendor to get a resolution. They offered us a $300 return of the $5855 we had paid. We declined and asked for a better solution. They begun to ignore us at that point. We took them to small claims court and won .We were only awarded $1000 but we're advised by the courts we have a healthy case to appeal. Because the vendor broke down in court explaining they could not afford a full refund we chose not to go to a higher court despite how rude she and her staff were in court. After two months of waiting for the judgement we contacted the vendor again for repayment. The vendor requested to pay monthly. They begun making monthly payments in 01/2018 in the amount of $100 a month for a judgement of a total $1245. The vendor has currently made 6 payments and is currently ignoring our request. I have chosen not to put a lean on the business or to cause further court cost for this vendor. I have not exposed who they were up until this point almost a year later and still they will not pay the remaining $645. I DO NOT SUGGEST USING THIS LOCATION FOR CATERING OF MORE THAN 1 GUEST!!!!!!! The level of professionalism isn't there when issues arise. I do suggest that you keep buying plates and cupcakes only because I hope one day they will...

Alright…. They warned me and I got the itis afterwards.. my experience listed below… So, my sweet tooth led me to the Cheesecake Empori-yum, but my stomach had me ordering the “World” Pizza. 😴

From the cheesecake Emproi-yum, I ordered the golden Oreo and the cinnamon roll cheesecakes. Of the two, the cinnamon roll was the clear winner!! It’s an untraditional take on a cheesecake, and really borders being a pie/ cake. Whatever you want to call it, it’s magically delicious..

Now onto this magical Pizza… if you order chicken tenders or burgers everywhere you got, are picky, or just don’t like trying new things take taste buds elsewhere on the menu. The pizza has ALOT… I’d equate one slice to like 2-3 of a regular pizza. A ton of protein that oddly works well together with taste of sweet and savory, sometimes separate sometimes all at once. It all depends on the bite. The crust was a house made garlic herb crust. Beware.. you will have to wait for this pizza to be prepared. Which is expected unless you order ahead.

This pizza is a must try if you want to spice things up in your life, experience new things, or actually explore the culinary art mixture of Montgomery.

After pre-arranging over a month in advance for catering of a party I am extremely disappointed in the service that I received. First let me start off by saying the cake that I ordered was supposed to be edible icing and she just printed off pictures on printer paper and put them on the cake. The sheet cake look like an open book, it wasn't level and I can't believe she just print it off pictures and put them on my damn cake and told me it was edible icing. We were lucky that no one wanted to cut the photos because they thought they were going to mess up the cake. Second she was an hour late for set up for the party and she didn't apologize she didn't say anything she just came in like it was normal. We confirm twice that week to ensure that she knew what time and where to be and paid upfront for all services. She didn't have all the food we ordered. She told us that she would explain her tardiness the following week but it was a piss-poor reason. She offer 10% of the cost for the service but that doesn't even cover the cake.
