Vicki's Lunch Van, LLC. — Restaurant in Montgomery

I went there yesterday for a burger. The burger was already made, it was cold. It was not hot at all, the fries were hotter, smh. I should have known something was up because within 5 minutes of me ordering, the burger is ready. I assumed the burger was precooked but thats definitely not worth $14 and the 15 minute drive to go with it.

Update 9/12/24 Im not understanding your statement by you never had anyone come back. Are you saying everyone who went there has no complaints?? Im sitting here looking at reviews over the years from this restaurant and some of the people who rated it low as I did said the same exact thing. The people stated that the burger was cold and seems like it was precooked. Lastly, I was on my lunch break and took half of that time trying to get to your restaurant so, no, didn’t have time to speak to you.

As far as the reviews, I have reviewed , yes, you have seen low reviews from some restaurants. Those few restaurants that were reviewed are spaced out, not back to back. You expect everyone on earth, for a year or two to have good experiences, everywhere they go? Low reviews in general shouldn’t be a big surprise because a lot of restaurants are lacking customer service today. I’m only going to review negatively for restaurants if the customer service was the worse I have experienced and if the food is overpriced but the quality is low. I’m not trying to be a negative Nancy. I’m just giving an honest review because PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW. Vicki's Lunch Van is an excellent choice if you are hungry for a very good hamburger or cheeseburger. I do not say that lightly. By the way I did not dine there recently. I bought ice at Twice the Ice machine. I have enjoyed a cheeseburger at Vicki's Lunch Van and it is as good as I mentioned. 11 May 2023 Vicki's Lunch Van has moved to Collisium Boulevard kinda close to CVS. I got there around 2:20 and the Lunch rush was over with. I got the 8 ounce burger with fries. Yes I did have to wait 5-7 minutes but it was well worth it for everything to be freshly cooked. I will eat there again only I will ask him to let the hamburger patties cook on their own weight. I am not like the chefs on The Food Network that want a burnt crust on hamburger patties. Vicki's Lunch Van Serves very large sandwiches. I have a large appetite and I could not finish the fries. It is independently owned and operated. I like that very, very much. They have quite the air conditioning system because it was very comfortable in there on a hot day today. The hamburger, fries and a drink cost $15.00 and I felt it was well worth it. The menu prices include our awesome 10% sales tax. I highly recommend this...

This is not a bad review. Just an honest review of the quality of the food and atmosphere. I feel that some of the reviews I read are over exaggerated about the food and wanted to give everyone an honest review.

I order a 6oz burger come with a chili dog. The burger was good and the hot dog was good, but not great. I say this because everyone says, its amazing, but it's just your average burger and hotdog. The fries needed salt, they were unseasoned. They weren't terrible, just need a little love. The prices for the burger are a little high in my opinion. They are priced at $14 for 4oz or $16 for 6oz combo. At these prices I prefer to eat Five Guys.

I do however like their burgers over all fast food places besides Five Guys. Their hand patty burgers and the quality is there, just not as great as people make it out to be.

I just wanted to give everyone an honest review. Because all these reviews were over hyped and I had to give it an honest review, this is coming from a burger expert ;)

But the service, the people were amazing , and the place is kept clean.

If I could give them a 3.5 I would but I have to go with a 3 since google...
