It was a beautiful yet cold and snowy morning that I woke up at about 8am. I took my time in the morning getting out of bed with my girlfriend who I woke up with. She has the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen in my life. At about 10 or 11 we started to make breakfast of which consisted of some eggs and toast. A classic. At 12 we left the house and made a run to Home Depot, also in Monticello.
My girlfriends water heater broke the day before and so we had to fix the water elements that were fried. We got to Home Depot with her dog, Hiro. Everyone was giving him so much attention and be was loving it. We found the parts with a little bit of a struggle. Because we weren't sure if we should get the water element that was bent or a long and not bent. We left and then we went to PetSmart, pretty close by. We got the crickets from there for her bearded dragon. I think we got 36 of the small crickets.
Just as we got in the car and thought we were done in town my girlfriend said she didn't want to cook lunch (because she's sick and loosing her voice). Little Caesar's was close, cheap and quick so we decided on that. She went in to go get the pizza and I went into Caribou to grab myself a coffee and her a hot chocolate. We came back out at the same time and saw Hiro sitting in the front seat waiting for us. He's adorable and very intelligent. She got a cheese pizza for us and we drove home. We started the process of draining the water heater and opened the glorious box of pizza. It was cheesy, a little too much cheese at the center so it was a bit cracked. My girlfriend went in for a piece and pulled. It wasn't just the one piece of pizza that pulled away it was the entire pizza! She lifted up the pizza and held it up so she was picking it up and it was hanging so we could see the bottom. It wasn't cut through at all. Very disappointed we set the pizza in the oven so it could heat up. We cut it up a little better and started munching. It has ideal amount of sauce and a lot of flavor. The cheese was a basic mozzarella. And the crust was puffy and crusty on the outside while the bottom was just right. Overall a good pizza but I wish that the pizza was cut all the way through.
My girlfriend wants to add that the cashier was very nice and attentive to the customers with there being a small rush. And that the cashier had pretty blue and purple...
Read moreI normally rarely write reviews but my experience at this restaurant was abysmal. The food was pretty much as expected; my complaint lies with the service. I tried to place an order on the website, but it didn't work. I tried through the app, but it didn't work. I inquired and it turns out they messed up the online ordering system for the store. Because of this, I decided to call in my order. I call it in, confirm my order on the phone, then I go to the store. To my surprise they logged my pepperoni stuffed crust as a "custom stuffed crust" and overcharged me. They also gave me the wrong type of brownies and missed both the wings AND the crazy puffs. It's absolutely ridiculous that even when talking to an employee to place my order, they manage to completely screw it up. I asked them to fix it, and they declined, so I decided to just pay and walk out. The pizza and dessert were good, the ranch they have pairs really well with their pizza, but until they fix their service issues and hire competent employees, I doubt I'll be back.
Edit: I wanted to update my review because not only did I have this experience, but I went once before this too. The restaurant had locked the doors and stopped people from ordering because they were "too backed up with orders." So instead of letting orders get added to the queue, they completely prevented any new customers from even entering the store. This backlog they were referring to turned out, if memory serves me correct, to be somewhat less than 10 orders with ≈15 pizzas total. That day I encountered the same issues trying to place an online order, though apparently this time the error was because they disabled online ordering. I ended up ordering and just going to Dominos. They had a screen with about the same amount of orders as Little Caesar's on it but I had my pizza within 15 minutes of ordering.
Suffice it to say, I only have poor experiences with this restaurant and the employees seem to have no idea what they're doing. Either because they're incompetent or they simply don't...
Read moreI don’t even know how to go about explaining how terrible the experience was ordering from here on Saturday 4.12.25. Ordered online at 6:20 and it said it would be ready at 7. Showed up and the store was packed so we just waited in the car until we received the order ready notification. At 7:37 it finally said it was ready at the counter, however when we went in to pick it up, it was utter chaos. There was one older gentleman up front saying he was a lead but doesn’t work up front and yelling at the “young kids” in back saying they don’t know what they’re doing. People were obviously upset as we had all been waiting for like an hour or so at this point and he couldn’t seem to figure out who got what pizza and just started handing out pizzas to whoever. When I tried pointing out to him that the name on the pizzas didn’t match the people he was giving them to, he said he didn’t care. After another 30+ minutes of trying to get someone to find my order (the warmer boxes were full of pizzas but no one was handing them out) I was finally given two pizzas and a cheese bread. All 3 of the items were cold, only one of the pizzas was what I ordered and the other was close but was missing a topping and wasn’t stuffed crust like I paid for. When I asked for a refund and a managers phone number, the guy just said no and walked away. This is unacceptable and I have no idea how they are still...
