I went there for the first time today; ordered in the drive thru. It was slow, but Panera isn't really fast food, so that didn't bother me. When I got to the window to pay and receive food, I was asked to move to the drive thru waiting spots. While waiting (a long time) I watched people going in and out, and nobody else from the drive thru was asked to wait like I did. They all just got their food right away. While watching, I noticed a woman pull into the lot and walk into the building with a Panera bag. Shortly after, she came out to her car with food, an employee followed her out with my bag of food. When I looked at my bag, it was obvious they had put a new seal on it as the top of the bag was torn and wrinkled. The seal to my sandwich was torn and not replaced. So basically, you accidentally gave my order to someone else. They drove away with it, opened things up to discover it wasn't their order and drove back to the store to get their correct order. You proceeded to give me the food that another customer had driven away with and handled. This makes me very distrustful of this Panera. You could have told me about the mix up at the window and simply made me new food. This is actually kind of...

I placed a mobile order for the Strawberry Poppy Chicken salad as it’s my favorite and only available for a limited time. I customized the order to have no pecans, and I know that it went through okay because the receipt clearly states no pecans. Lo and behold, I open the bag and what do I see on top of the salad? PECANS. It was initialed that the order was inspected, but obviously not very well because they didn’t catch the error. I was able to remove them, but if a person with a nut allergy had this happen, it could have been a real problem. That being said, the food was already ready when I arrived to pick it up and was otherwise delicious. The restaurant looked very clean. A good experience aside...
Read moreMet a friend for lunch. I wanted to go to the NEW Panera in Monticello MN . I arrived early I had about a half hour to wait. I noticed the table next to me had salads. I watched the woman as she picked around the icky pieces… And thought I hope I don’t get a salad like that. I ordered the Oriental half salad and half sandwich. There was no Romain lettuce at all (which was pictured) and I had to also pick around the stem and a lot of white pieces from the iceberg lettuce. It was very disappointing. I know I won’t order the salad again. I had to go find someone to wash our table because it was so dirty. The chairs scrape so loud on the floor that not only did I JUMPED when people would move them. I saw other people, gasping because the sound was so LOUD and deafening. They really need to fix that. It was not a calm, peaceful...
