Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Monticello

The night manager, Makayla, answers the phone as if she doesn't have the energy to talk. We ordered the special with 1 half bacon & pepperoni, the other Philly cheese steak. It was over an hour, and we called to see what was going on. They were behind. It's going in the oven now, 15-20 min. I got there & was ignored for almost 5 min. Sorry, we're so behind. Oh, we messed up 1 pizza, it has to be re-cooked. Why? We made it half pepperoni/half bacon because they are so far behind & she's got a bunch of kids working. So, we waited another 20 minutes. While waiting, she tells another customer how far behind they are and it's all day shifts fault because they didn't do their job. I didn't open the pizza pizzas. I should have!! I got home, we opened the pizzas, and Philly cheese steak is just a 1 topping pizza with steak, no Alfredo, onions, or peppers. I called makayla, explained who I was & asked if she remembered me. I think so, idk. Hmm.. how do you forget so quickly... she told me the Philly has ranch, not Alfredo. Then, she's silent.. I asked what she's doing bc she's not saying a word. I'm writing your info down. Next time you come in, we will give you a Philly pizza free. Next time will hopefully not be when...

I love Papa John's pizza....but this location no... let me tell you...the manager Micheal is lousy and so is his boss...no I didn't no order food from there and I'm glad I never have....all reviews are important to the public...but my reason why I have a problem with this location is because who runs it....I had a friend that was supposed to start work at this location and Michael changed his mind because of 3 females spreading rumors that never occurred at this Papa John's location....so Michael refuse to tell what was said about my friend and said that the girls felt uncomfortable....that should not effect my friends employment status...new management should take place at this location....people are so quick to say people don't want to work but when they try to get a job they become a victim and get denied because of a rumor that never happened on the clock nor the property period and etc...I hope the bosses get a taste of their...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called & ordered 2 large pizzas & some breadsticks and was quoted 15-20 minutes. Got to the location in 20 minutes walked in to multiple people waiting. No one at the cash register even greeted me for about 5 minutes but several employees standing around cracking jokes to each other. I paid for my food, but then was told it would be another 35 minutes. That was fine, I understand people can get busy, so I went & waited 30 minutes in my car. I went back in & they proceeded to tell me it would be another 35 minutes and there was still 4 orders ahead of mine. I asked for my money back & they didn’t even have a manager on site, just a bunch of young kids. Kinda felt bad for them, but I took my business to Pizza Hut where they made my pizza in 15 minutes, hot & delicious. Would not recommend Papa Johns in Monticello to anyone which is upsetting considering it’s my favorite pizza place. Get some managers...
