I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a store as a doordasher. I walked in to pick up two orders. I was told that one of them had already been picked up but this was my first time walking into this Taco Bell in over a week. I explained that I was there to pick up the order and I’m not sure what else to tell them. I had called the customer and they said they had not received the order and both my app as a dasher and their app as a customer said that the order had not been picked up yet. What I can only guess was the “manager” (he had an eyebrow piercing, I didn’t get his name) was so rude and refused to remake the order saying I needed to somehow make the order go back through their system in order for him to remake it. I called DoorDash and they called him and requested he remake the order and he told them that all I needed to do was show him that the red order was on my phone, which I happily did thinking “finally I can get my customer their order.” He looked at it, shook his head and still refused to remake it saying that he needed them to send it again for “inventory reasons” and that if he remade this order (2 beefy 5 layer burritos btw, that was the order, just two burritos) he would get fired because “inventory wouldn’t match up” after about 30-45min of trying to get him to remake the order so that the customer could get the food they paid for, he finally did and said he’d never remake another order it DoorDash again. I had already felt so horrible that they even had to deal with this in the first place, but the whole interaction had me leaving in tears. I had just clocked on and that was my first order of the night and I was so upset that I just clocked out right after delivering the orders. I have had an instance or two where an order has to be remade, whether because someone took off with it right before I got there, or because another dasher took off with it, but this was the first time the interaction of trying to get it figured out has left me in tears. I’m NEVER going back to that Taco Bell again. Not as a customer, not as a dasher, and I wouldn’t recommend this particular store to anyone I know. I’d sooner drive to the Taco Bell in delta where I’ve been in millions of times and have never...
Read moreTwice i've had to deal with negative rude staff. The first time was around closing time. I was in the drive thru with at least 8 other cars and nothing was moving. I finally got to the speaker and they said they had been closed for 15 minutes already. They still had all the outdoor lights on. So, i thought whatever i'll just move on but there was 4 cars behind me and 4 cars ahead of me. So my passengers got out to tell them Taco Bell was closed so we could all move our cars and leave. Meanwhile the manager comes over the speaker and says " You can't stay here man. If you don't leave we're gonna call the cops." At that point i got angry. I told this guy the situation outside and to get his butt out there and tell all these cars they were closed and to turn the lights off. Guess what? The entire staff came outside ready to start a fight.......until they saw the truth. The manager helped tell everyone they were closed. And as we were leaving they finally turned the lights off. That was about month or so ago. Today i went in for lunch and noticed the AC wasn't working. When i asked about it, i was confronted by rude sarcasm. The employee said " Yeah we know. We just don't have time to go on the roof and flip the switch." All while staring at me like she was waiting for a fight. Not today. I smiled, said "Thanks anyway" and walked out. Something is amiss at the Montrose Taco Bell and my guess is it starts...
Read moreI just don't understand how 3 people after 10pm can act so inconvenienced to do their job and during the wait at least two of the staff simply were just standing around chatting, tonight, they even seemed annoyed to answer the drive thru. Truly is Taco Hell, then it precedes to get worse, not only did they NOT give us our drinks or adequate amount of sauce that was requested, there was a foreign hair inside my burrito. Save your disappointment and just eat dinner at home. The gentleman about 30 with dark hair and glasses sucks at his job and sound probably find a different job he might enjoy more, the other older gentleman and him should probably meet up on their own time to chat, while they make the other girl, who had a hard time following a simple request in the first place, do most of the work. Worst Taco bell experience. I wish I could give...
