Wawa — Restaurant in Montville Township

Wow Wawa sucks!!! The one time I run to Wawa instead of QC when I needed gas. 🙄 So I get to Wawa October 1, 2025, I pulled into pump #4. I asked the guy to fill it regular and handed him $40 cash since you have to prepay now, which I actually like. He goes to the pump and it kicks off at $33.07, he decided to round it up to $34. At about $33.95 gas starts spilling out of my car. He gets to $34, puts the handle back, goes to screw my cap back on, and says have a good day. Now I drive a 2011 jeep liberty, I don’t mind if gas is spilt on it. So I’m driving to work and my whole 30 minute ride was a ride from hell, the smell and headache was horrible!! So I get to work and 3 hours later I’m walking out for lunch and I open my door, not remembering about the gas, and it hit me like a freight train. (Smelt like the nozzle was in my back seat.) So after work I went back to that same Wawa to speak to a manager, he wrote down my name number time frame (11-11:45am) and which pump I was at. He never asked for vehicle description. He said he and his GM have to review the footage and that they would call me tomorrow morning. He said after reviewing the footage that they normally give people a free car wash, I said first off, I wash it myself because it’s a soft top and second that doesn’t help the inside of the car. And he said well that’s what we do. Well here I am a whole 24 hours later with no phone call back and this is why I’ve decided on writing a review. So I decided to call. I spoke with the same manager who took my information previously, he said that he emailed the GM but heard nothing back and that he wasn’t in today so he told me to call Wawa cooperate. Well I called for some reason they have a 23 minute wait time at 9pm at night… I will try again in the morning.

Ps I’ve been driving for 6 years and have always paid cash - never has this ever...

Needed to stop for food on the way and stopped at this relatively new Wawa. I ordered two sandwiches when we got back to eat it both orders were wrong. They missed MAJOR ingredients the sandwich consisted of just lettuce, pickles and bell peppers with the added pepperoni but they missed the whole Italian sandwich ingredients. My husbands sandwich also missed ingredients and they added ones that weren’t on the list. The paper list I don’t understand how hard it is to follow but clearly after seeing reviews now this place messes up...

Good luck getting gas here, all three attendants sat in their stands while I was the only car waiting at 8:30pm. I had to wait ten minutes before moving to a different pump and then finally an attendant came over.

On different occasions, getting food here is always slow. I understand it’s been open for over a month, but my goodness it doesn’t take over ten minutes to make an easy wrap while skimping out on the insides. Good luck...
