Montville Diner Restaurant — Restaurant in Montville Township

Went there with family, on New year's day at 8pm. I ordered a Tuna Salad wrap, I asked the waiter Tony to add American cheese, didn't get American cheese in my Tuna Salad wrap, also there wasn't much Tuna in the wrap very little, the gave you a side of French fries, they were old and horrible burnt and disgusting my cousin Sherri wanted them she only ate 3 of the French fries the rest were thrown away. I couldn't take a picture due to being with family otherwise I would of. The Tuna Salad wrap was small and horrible and it costs $13.50. Very disappointed. The waiter Tony was very shaky meaning when he would bring you your beverages his hand was shaking very badly and almost spilt the beverages also when he brought the food my cousin Sherri wanted to help him, put her plate on the table he got upset and alittle nasty with her saying the plate is very hot with a nasty tone. Tony also would repeat himself saying things to us more than once, Thanks for coming tonight folks, Happy new year folks. Anyway the only thing that was good was the Raspberry ice tea. I'm sorry but I will not be coming back to the Montville Diner. This is my second worst...

Absolutely amazing food with the worst service I have ever had and I have been to all over the continental US. As someone who has been a store manager for many restaurants, I would have fired my employees on the spot for treating people the way my family and I were treated tonight. The lady was immediately rude and treated my husband like garbage for wanting a strawberry margarita with his meal. The food had already came and it was the first thing he ordered. When I asked about when we should receive it, she said she had to wait on another lady to make it meanwhile that other lady was just sitting down and basically refusing to make it. We are visiting from California and just spent over 12 hours in NYC and wanted a nice meal before getting back to our family's house. I would honestly never go back there ever again and if you decide you are hungry stop somewhere else. On top of it when I asked for them to take the margarita off the bill since she hadn't brought it over and we were all done with dinner, SHE BROUGHT ME THE BILL, FOLDED IT, AND PUT IT ON THE TABLE!!! Go five minutes further to West Essex diner and don’t waste your time. I went in later in the evening with a hungry 6 and 10 year old. Well after ordering two burgers and some corned beef hash I finally received my food 45 minutes later, not the kids food first, just my food. We then waited 5-10 minutes longer for the waitress to saunter back to kitchen and back to the table with the kids food. This is normally acceptable when the diner is packed but it was just us and two other parties. By the way, the host sat all three parties right next to each other, which again is normally acceptable, except when the lady behind you is coughing, nay hacking the entire time. Now the diner can’t help that, but they can help the sticky disgusting table, the disappearing waitress, and corned beef hash that looked and tasted like Purina Pro Plan Turkey and Gravy from the can. I am a guy who eats meatballs from gas stations so it’s not like my standards are that high but this stuff was like watery. Next time when my kids after a night of sports I will keep going...
