I haven't been to Sneaky Pete's in many many yrs and have wanted to stop by so I finally did. Had business in that area. Upon walking in I saw that the location had an 87 I think it was for the grade. I went ahead and stayed and ordered. I sat down to wait and looked up and I won't say which station but it was clearly on a news station for a particular point of view I'll say. I've lived in Alabama since I was 11 yrs old and I'm almost 48 and I've never felt so out of place in all of these yrs and I grew up in a small town about 45 minutes away. The young guy that was cooking just kept looking at me with such a you're not welcomed here, why are u in here look it was really unsettling to the point that I felt like I had to watch him fix my food. I won't ever go back. Times are too divisive for you to play that on your public television. Painted a clear picture to me of where I was and that I was out of place. I have doctor's appointments and they play HGTV or something that is for everyone. That was uncalled for but it showed me the kind of boldness they have at this location. AND for there to not have been practically any business at the time I went in the employees were sitting down watching television and they have an 87!!! Like I said before. I won't go back! I only stopped because I remembered how good the fries were but the fries today were not seasoned. Maybe they've stopped doing that but I do think they still serve cooked fries. These were borderline raw. It was my son's first time having them. I was almost ashamed after I ate mine that I had bought him that and tried to introduce him to something new. Without me even saying anything he probably won't ever consider eating there again all on his own. I haven't said anything to him about my experience in there today but just on the quality of food they've...
Read moreMy fiancé just in countered a terrible experience at the moody location with the White heavy set woman (I wish I knew her name). So I called to get whomever is in charge of the store’s number since she stated they are not affiliated with corporate. She answered the phone rudely as if she already knew who was called and the reason(which let me know she was in the wrong) she called me out of my name and stated she would turn my number over to the police. The problem was she locked (the door was unlocked when he arrived) the door in my fiancé’s face (black male) while serving a customer already and the grill was still on because she was cooking. I’ve never experienced this type of bs over food. These people are too use to getting away with being low down to others it is ridiculous. I loved this place I’ll never eat here or any other location rather. God will handle these people. I WOULD NOT...
