Ordered a delivery direct last night through their website and it never came. After waiting for 90 minutes I called the store and they said none of the online orders went through. I asked them to refund and he didn't know how to call back and talk to the manager in the morning. So no pizza, no refund, wasted 90 minutes waiting and I have to call back. Owner said the power went out and the printer never got hooked back up because of the power. When I called the worker already knew from someone else that didn't get their food the orders weren't working....Hmm maybe then they should have done something about it instead of oh sorry, no food for you and we're keeping your money until tomorrow. Owner wanted me to drive to the store to pickup my refund. Acting like it wasn't his fault for a customer not getting their order. No compensation offered. A free pizza or even half off would have kept my business for all the hassle and wasted time. Instead, the owner acted like it wasn't a concern of his. Never again. STAY AWAY, the owner doesn't appreciate his customers.
In response to the owners reply below, if a customer has a bad experience they have every right to post a bad review if they are not happy. Everything I said was true. It is a common practice to offer customers compensation when you mess up. This is what I suggested would keep me happy for my time you wasted. Your business failed last night. If your online order system goes down then you should have a backup plan to notify and quickly refund the customer. NOT HAVE THEM WAIT HOURS FOR FOOD THAT IS NEVER COMING!!!! Offering free food and discounts is a way to keep customers happy when you make a mistake. I'm sure you guys will mess up again soon so maybe try it out next time. Read moreCOMPLAINT I placed an order for pizza at AJ Bambino at 8:30pm. I asked how long for the delivery and he said 1 hour. I told him that was going to take to long and to cancel my order. He then asked if I could pick up it would only be 25 minutes and I told him no because I have an injured foot. Then he said he would check with his driver to see if he could have it here 30-45 minutes and I said ok thank you. When he called back he said the driver could have it here 30-45 minutes. I call back at 9:20 to find out where the driver was as my husband was home now and my daughter was waiting to eat as well. The guy tells me he is just leaving the store. I live in Shelborne, which means it wouldn't get here for another 7-10 minutes depending on the driver and thats only if I was the first delivery. I then tell him who I was and he says oh he will be there any minute. So I am now more mad because he is lying and it is not here in the 30-45 minute time frame he guaranteed. I told him that if he wasn't going to make it here in time then he should have told me and just cancelled my order like I first asked and I could have ordered elsewhere that would have got it here in 30 minutes. Then he says because other places cook in a microwave and that he cooks in a brick oven even though if I picked up it would have been ready in 25 minutes..... ending of it all, he talked over me, told me he was calling the driver to not come and cancelling my order and marking my number so I can never order again. Read moreWhen I tell you don’t order from here do not order here… I called and ordered a medium pizza, Italian hoagie, and a pasta dish… I was told it would be an hour wait which I was okay with and it arrived in a hour and 20 minutes which I still wasn’t too mad at until the delivery person handed me my order and to my dismay I had opened the pizza box and it was empty… I myself work at a pizza place and was astonished to the idiocracy that was had by their staff. I was told he would go back and get it but I didn’t want to wait another hour, the driver assured me it would only be a couple of mins but I knew they would just bring me my now two hour old pizza, so politely called and told my situation and asked for a new pizza so at least when I got it would be warm… I was then called back telling my pizza was on my way and that it would be there in 5 mins although that was not enough time to make me a new pizza so reasonably I was frustrated. Until the man on the phone was rude raised his voice which turned into a yelling match.
