Food is good when you can get it. Third time visitor: 1st time there; the order taker messed up my order, got double of what I wanted, not a big deal, the chicken was good and we did enjoy it for a few meals. I did have to wait about 20 minutes to get the order though. 2nd time there; was told that the thighs would be about 15 minutes, OK, I'll wait. 30 minutes later the manager asks me what I'm waiting for, Thighs I said. Manager said that they were not ready, could he substitute other pieces? At this point I said sure, and they did give me a variety of other pieces and I was on my way. It's too bad I had to wait for this resolution, could have been done much earlier in my waiting time. 3rd time there; Tried to place my order (10 pce legs and thighs) was told that the store was out of dark meat, they were getting some from another store and it would be 30 minutes, I decided to wait since we live 30 minutes away. 20 minutes into my wait, an employee asked what I was waiting for (I was the only one in the store) dark meat I replied, he said that they won't have any for another hour! Great, another 20 minutes out of my life that I won't get back. Thankfully, Kroger was just down the road, guess what, they had chicken, boxes and boxes of it, I went home with two boxes of Kroger chicken. While I was waiting, another customer returned her order, COLD CHICKEN she said, wanted a refund. During the refund process the "Manager" was overheard telling the lady that perhaps McDONALDS' might have hot food that would suit her. I do hope that this store will survive the obvious mismanagement blunders, we do need a chicken place in Mooresville. UPDATE: Have been back about four times since the review above. Two visits were great, one was just after they opened for the day, I was customer number two so had no trouble getting my usual order, 10 piece legs and thighs. Was in and out within five minutes, sweet! Next visit, same ten piece order netted me five thighs and five breasts???? Didn't check before heading home, NUTS!! Next visit, got the order, it was correct, about a ten minute wait but got a senior discount so that was a nice perk for being a senior. This visit today is a different story, went in for my usual order, ten piece dark, Apparently it was a manager taking my order, so he says that they don't have that configuration available, would I like to order something different. Whaaaaaat? It was a special promotion a while back and its not available. You've got to be kidding, I just got this order last week, After some back and forth this snowflake backing up dramatically, hands raised did process the order and I was on my way. I maintain the the management of this location is very ill trained, seems they have a "can't do" attitude rather than a "can do" attitude that other eateries have. Trying to reach a live customer service rep at Church's Corporate is also near impossible, they seem to be hiding from their customer base, a email address that nets nor response, really sad for a corporations reputation, must be the new business model....

Because of hostess Lucinda not taking orders. At 3:00 the person in front of me left same reason. I ask Lucinda why she was not taking orders and told her I had been there for 35 min. And she had not taken any orders, she mumbled of which I did not hear clearly. But she took my order I ordered a family 8 pc. All white with mashed potatoes. And gravy. I paid by cr. Card. I then inspected my ticket and she had charged me for 2 leg and thigh dinners. Instead of my order of 8 pc. Family. All white. I called her on it and she walked away, I informed another person non Hispanic woman that I wanted my money back, she had to go get a older man poss. Mgr.? To come and return my money, he wanted to discuss it why I did not wan't to wait any longer. He finally returned my cc money to my card. At 3:10 pm. That's 45 min. For nothing. During this 45 min they only served 2 cust. Orders that were seated when I arrived. This is sorry cust. Relations . Not only did the 2 persons in front of me leave there was 3 cust. Behind that also left . Tha drive thru only serviced 3 vehicles while I was present. This place needs to shut down before it opens it is lousy...

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and friendly service. The staff was not only professional and courteous, but they also went out of their way to make sure my order was just right. Itâs refreshing to see that kind of customer care these days!
Now letâs talk about the food â absolutely incredible! The chicken was perfectly cooked â crispy and golden on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. You can tell it was made fresh and with care. I also tried the honey-butter biscuits and they were amazing â soft, warm, and just the right amount of sweetness. The sides were just as good, especially the mashed potatoes and fries, which were hot and flavorful.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. You can tell the team here takes pride in their work, and it really shows in both the food and the service.
