Freddie's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Mora

My family and I went to Freddies the other night to try. We were able to be seated right away even though they were busy. The owner and our waitress were super nice. But we did have problems with our food. The food was great, don't get me wrong, but my mom was given the wrong food at first(she ordered baked fish and got fried fish with baked beans) and my mom and I got our soup and salad after we got our main course because it was forgotten. My dad also had part of his dinner missing. We had to ask to get refills too. We also ordered a few things to go and I ordered a milkshake because someone near us did and it looked so good. But when I got mine it was 1/3 of what the other person got. I got it to go but I didn't think I'd get charged for a full milkshake when I didn't even get all of it or whipped cream.

Went to Freddie's with my mom Sister and Niece. We all had a taste for something different. Since it was a lazy Saturday my sister and I had a taste for a late breakfast. I had the Eggs Hasbrouck and sausage plus toast. Hard to get good over easy eggs, and tgey didcnot disappoint. Everything was cooked perfect and had great flavor on top of it. Wish I could get that flavor at home. My mom who can be a picky Eater ordered the Little Donnie Burger with Onion rings. I did have a couple Onion rings, love their hand dipped kind the best.. tgecberger is tgeir version of a Big Mac sort of. With out the extra bread, but a home cooked version and much tastier. My mom is a pretty light eater normally, she ate the whole thing. The people there are so friendly from ownership to all the servers, which adds to the great food. First, the service was fantastic. Our waiter was extraordinarily great at his job, and the owner or manager also came by to make sure we were happy. Our drinks were full, our condiments were correct, and our bill was timely. Next, the menu... The menu was great. I had a hard time choosing what to eat because it all sounded delicious. The prices were competitive, and overall, we spent the same or less as any other bar & grill as a family of 5. And finally, the food!! The portions were large. We were served very quickly- especially considering how busy it was. The breading on their fried food was fantastic- the crisp was perfect. The salad was fresh. I felt their clam chowder was too sweet and a bit grainy, and the cheese curds were pretty bland. But the pickle fries were delicious, and I don't know how they did this, but they stayed hot for SO long!! The tator tots were perfectly crunchy. The fish was good and the shrimp poppers were a hit.
