One of the rudest people I have ever encountered working here. I'm not going to leave their name because I don't believe in messing with people's jobs like that. However, let's clear the food up first. The food was not bad, nor was it something to write home about. Then again I ordered a hotdog in a burger place. I can't speak on the burgers so they may be great. My husband likes the food this is why I occasionally will get a dog if he wants to eat here. This review isn't about the food. Like I've stated in past reviews, if my experience is mediocre you don't get a review from me. You have to completely suck or blow my mind for me to review. There is one particular employee I'm referring to. I will not call them male or female or put a name. I will refer to them as "worker". The point of my review isn't to get someone fired. At best maybe they could have a staff meeting and remind them of how to interact with customers properly.
So this particular worker always has this horrible look on their face the few times I have been in there. I never paid it any mind until one day I was waiting for my order. There was a group of friend that consisted of three boys. They looked to maybe be seniors in high school, maybe early college kids. One was white, the other two were African American. I do not like to bring up race unless I truly feel it may be relevant to the story. I'm not saying for fact this worker was this rude because of this kids race, but I will bring it up because I was so offended by the way he was treated. I don't even think the kid realized it. Maybe this worker isn't racist. Maybe they're this mean to everyone for all I know. The three boys seemed to have just gotten their food. One of the African American boys I guess he realized he needed a condiment so he goes back up to the front to ask for it. Let's just call it mustard for the sake of it because I dont remember exactly what it was it was in a tiny packet. Anyway...he politely asks this worker for mustard. The worker (still with this miserable look on their face as always) turns to the kid and says "WHAT?" in the coldest rudest tone. The kid repeats himself. The worker turns and grabs the mustard and hands it to the kid. The kid then says thank you. The worker just ignores him. Doesn't say you're welcome. Nothing. No reply. I know he heard him because I could hear this entire thing going on from about 15 feet away and this worker was just across the counter from this kid. Anyone who has ever had to deal with a customer in their life knows better than to say "WHAT". I don't talk to my husband this way, my kids, or anyone for that matter. Why would it be ok for anyone else to talk like this to someone?? Especially in a place where you are serving customers like this. I'm not done, it gets worse. So the kid sits down with his friends. I guess his friends needed mustard too. The kid goes back up and politely asks for more mustard. I could say this worker gave him a dirty look again, but I don't think this workers face has ever changed from this dirty look. Once again this worker says "WHAT?" Kid politely repeats himself. The worker hands over the mustard, once again kid says thanks. Once again this worker completely ignores him and continues to give this horrible look on their face. It was at that point I told my husband he is forbidden to ever eat here again after what I saw. I don't care how great the food is. This is a deal breaker. I have had bad food at places and still given them a chance after, but this type of behavior is unacceptable to the highest degree. We will never go here again nor would I ever recommend this place. Half of me feels this worker was being racist, half of me feels this worker is just plain rude. We are all entitled to having a bad day. I always give someone the benefit of the doubt. When I see someone that seems to be going out of their way to be rude for absolutely no reason to someone that was nothing but nice to them that is unacceptable and I will...
Read moreFirst of all, the manager Chis is SO nice! I really liked his energy and it seems like he enjoys what he does. Or at least his customer service voice is convincing lol. He conversed with my bf while I went to fill up my drink and I heard them laughing. When I walked back to the register he asked if my bf and I have ever been here before. It's actually our 2nd time here. The first time was a mobile order around closing time a month ago. He then asked us if we got our first time customer cookies and we said no, so he gave my bf and I each an in-house baked chocolate chip cookie! Chris also mentioned that the potato buns for the burgers and hot dogs were also made in-house, which is pretty cool to know they're fresh as fresh can be.
I came here with my friends as well and when our food were ready, they called out our names. We thought we were suppose to go pick it up at the counter like any other place that would call out the name, but they actually delivered our food to the table! That was nice.
Food: Spicy, bacon, beefy, melted cheese? SOLD. I got the double Diablo and made it a combo with reg personal fries. The fries for a "personal" was actually more than I thought which was dope. My bf and I ended up sharing it.
The fries looked kind of burnt? But they weren't. The oil could use some changing. I worked in fast food before so I know how annoying it is to change the oil in the fryer. No harm no foul, the fries tasted fine.
Green Chile queso dip my friend ordered was yummy and came out to the table hot and melty. The guy who brought out the food almost forgot it and my friend almost had to ask about it, but before he left the table he said he'll be back with it. Kudos for remembering before a customer had to ask for it. It def kicked the fries up a notch.
My bf built his own cheese burger. He got potato buns, mooyah sauce, shredded lettuce, pepper Jack, Swiss, fried onion strings, grilled onions, regular onions, sautéed mushrooms, mayo, and bacon. He loved it. Hernan kilt it.
Would I recommend it? Yes. Specifically this location.
The employees also shout a thank you to customers as they leave if they rang the cow bell! It's placed over the trash bin near...
Read moreI recently visited this establishment after hearing all these good things about it and boy was I disappointed. When we first walked in it was nice and clean. Once at the register not once were we greeted or asked if we were ready to order for about 5 plus minutes and no one else was in line. We finally got to put our order in with a very rude person named jesus. Not once did he look up at me or acknowledge me standing in front of him. We got 2 classic combos asked if we can upgrade 1 to chips instead of fries to which his response was a very rude no and nothing else. I then upgraded 1 drink to a small milk shake for $3+ dollars. Once we received our food the milkshake was not on the tray which 1 got up and went up to the counter for. Jesus walked passed me without a word and started to make a shake. I was then handed a cup of milk with oreo cookies that sat at the bottom of the cup. I asked Jesus if this was my shake and why it looked like milk and his response was “it’s because we put fresh cream in the ice cream machine and it’s not ready, do you want me to put it in the freezer for a few minutes?” At this point i was upset and disappointed that i took my milk and went to eat my food. The burger was good but the fries tasted way over cooked and boarder line burnt. I was very upset after paying over $30 for 2 people and the quality and service was terrible! I WAS BETTER OFF GOING...
