Been going here pretty much since they opened and never disappointed. They understand the "secret" to being a good seafood restaurant - fresh ingredients and artfully cooked! Never a hint of that telltale stale "fishy" smell or taste. Carefully cooked just enough instead of into oblivion. 2 people splitting one of their large salads and a pair of their delicious fish tacos with fries gives you a very satisfying dinner at a more than reasonable price, or go with the salmon, swordfish, mahimahi or as I did a couple days ago a very nice petrale (not to be confused with their almost a nice tilapia - both are good for their own reasons). You aren't paying high prices for "atmosphere" or scenic settings/views - just good honest seafood at reasonable prices (and generous proportions). Definately on high rotation answering "where do you want to go for dinner?". Just past midnight, I had to skip dinner, and I'm writing about great food - how...
Read moreIn hopes to create a better life, I ordered oysters and apple juice. I was reading a self help book...well I was actually listening to a self help book on audible. I can't even help myself to the point of reading a book. Anyway, someone was reading me a self help book and it said I should make micro changes to my day to day. Instinctually, your brain wants to keep you away from the unknown because the unknown can be dangerous. Luckily, I was able to convince myself that while ordering oysters and apple juice may be unknown territory for me, it most likely wasn't dangerous. I'm hoping that this micro change along with a few others will eventually lead to a better life. Anyway, the oysters/apple juice was...
Read moreThere were 3 in our party. None of us had been before. I had been wanting to try them because the reviews looked good, the pics in the reviews looked great, and I love seafood. There aren't many options locally. We went on a weeknight at about 6pm. It was fairly empty. The server was great. The kitchen staff were great and accommodating. The restaurant was clean. That being said, I am sorry to report the food was a little disappointing. I had snapper. The portion was smaller than what I expected based on the price and pictures in reviews. It was a bit dry as well. My friend's tilapia was sadly overcooked as well. However, my other friend's burger was rare. Not pink...rare, like I love my steak. Maybe it was just an off night. I am willing to try again because I do love seafood and the staff were really nice....
