Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Morgantown

Just ate here! Friday night and it's nearly empty, which is a shame because it was a really great experience!! I did an appetizer (crispy duck roll - I forgot to take a picture but it was super yummy) , soup (spicy crabmeat soup, where my only regret was that there wasn't extra crab!), and salad (crispy duck over lettuce - not a huuuge fan of the dressing, but the duck was phenomenal) dinner with a strawberry bubble tea (tasted like strawberry quick with those yummy little gummy balls) and strawberry mochi (the only disappointment - the ice cream inside was tasty, and I ate all of that, but the mochi exterior was rubbery and tasteless).

The waitresses were on top of their game and very friendly and accommodating. The meal came with a cucumber palette cleanser, which I liked - tasted almost (but not quite) like mildly spicy pickle. Very mild and fresh.

I loved it and can't wait to come again!

Update: I went back, and it's just as fantastic! Skipped the dressing & now the crispy duck salad is perfect. Got a photo of the duck...

traveled to West Virginia for the first time and I have a Chinese friend with me. we love to eat Vietnamese food as well Chinese food that we normally eat here in Durham NC. and the lady who is assign in taking order is rude and I am not sure why she act that way. my friend was asking about the Pho soup that was clearly displayed outside as one of the menu. my friend even spelled it out and emphasized that it was displayed outside and she said she they don't make it. but the way she answered is impatient and clearly a disastrous as the front person to be dealing with the customer. our order was delivered to us by one of the staff who is also a Chinese so my friend asked him about the pho and he said they do make it! so what is going on with that lady. we eventually have to throw half of the food because it was not good. it was supposed to be Thai but my friend said "this is not Thai because the style of cooking is still Chinese" the food is not great and customer service...

Update: I’ve been dieting for months so I was excited to get my fav sushi as a treat today for lunch. When my wife brought the food home it was blatantly obvious the bistro cut portion sizes SIGNIFICANTLY. Everything we got was “tiny”. Food quality was still good, but left me hungry after finishing my meal. I hate to do this, but I have to lower my rating as it was the smallest portions I’ve seen a restaurant serve. It would not feed a child. I’m now hesitant to order here again.

Original Review: I don’t eat out much since COVID, but happened to stop in today after a doctors visit. They were not seating (take out only) but ended up letting my wife and I dine in, which really shows their great customer service. Had the sushi, it’s my favorite in Morgantown. Their spicy tuna is some of the best anywhere, I eat sushi when I travel and am still surprised at how spoiled we are to have it so good locally. I’ve eaten here many times and can honestly say I’ve never been...
