ASOLUTETLY ATROCIOUS!!!! The food is a mediocratic joke, to say the least. However the most dumbfounding part is the fact that the owner allows his/her daughter to wear a jacket that says “Really, I don’t care.” The funny part is, that she really doesn’t, at all!! I was told “I don’t know how long it will be after placing a to go order. When I came to pick up my food I was laughed at by two snickering teenage-type adolescents (one of which claimed to be the owner when I asked for contact info for the actual owner.) It is obvious that either the owner doesn’t care who is in charge of his business or that he simply doesn’t know what is really happening. My advice, stay away from this place because any establishment that allows this behavior from “the owners daughter” obviously lacks tremendously in the satisfaction of the customer. Also, I will be filling a complaint with the BBB and also the health department. Then we will truly see how much his daughter “really...
Read moreI'll start by saying I never usually feel the need to take time and write reviews for restaurants. That being said, this restaurant was so bad that I felt compelled to do so. I'll keep it as short as possible. To start, the service was awful, a groups of people came in 5 minutes after us and had their drinks and food way before us. My fiance ordered the lunch special #6 and asked for no tomatoes or onions. Our waiter said that everything was already cooked with onions, which means their food isn't even cooked fresh, and her order came with a giant tomato on top. I had lunch special 6 and it was even worse. The beef had no taste and the enchilada basically fell apart and discenegrated as I tried to eat it. To top if off the waiter tried to charge us extra at the end and we had to take our bill up to the counter to get the price corrected by a different waitress. Needless to say we will never be back and you should definitely not come...
Read moreIt is with a heavy heart that I have to give such a low review. I used to love Rio. Ever since the name changed from Rio Grande to Rio Verde, service has really taken a nose dive. My wife and I normally eat here once a week...over the past 6 months service and food quality has been all over the place. Tonight we were seated and waited 15 mins before we were asked if we had been waited on. After we had finally been waited on, the table behind us was seated. 30 mins had passed and still no sign of our order. 5 mins later the table behind us was served their dinner...another 5 had passed and we still weren’t served. At this point we decided to leave. We only ordered nachos supreme...which we split. No nachos are worth waiting an hour for (at least not in Morgantown). I wish I could say for certain that we’ll go back, but it may be time for us to find a new favorite place to enjoy ritas and Mexican cuisine....
